Quite a few ESB posters are very exicted about the possibility of some Mega-Fights at Welterweight (147lbs) such as Cotto vs Mayweather - Mosley vs Mayweather - Berto vs Mosley and more.

Also Posters are just as excited about the "JUICY" possibilities of Awesome fights from 122lbs-130lbs (Juanma vs Caballero - Juanma vs Gamboa - John vs Concepcion and more).

154lbs-168lbs have some strong possibilities of Martinez vs Spinks - Felix Sturm vs Danny Jacobs - and of course the conclusion of the SUPER 6.

But this is what I am excited about....Look at these names at 135lbs & 140lbs:
    LIGHTWEIGHT
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Edwin Valero
    Joan Guzman
    Antonio DeMarco
    John Molina
    Anthony Peterson

    JR. WELTERWEIGHT
    Manny Pacquio
    Timothy Bradley
    Nate Campbell
    Juan Diaz
    Marcos Maidana
    Amir Khan
    Devon Alexander
    Juan Urango
    Kendall Holt
    Lamont Peterson
    Mike Alverado
    Paulie Malinaggi
    Victor Cayo
    Victor Ortiz

I am already "DROOLING" at the possibility of the Winner of Bradley/Peterson fighting JMM.

Imagine Devon Alexander vs Marcos Maidana - Joan Guzman vs Valero - Victor Ortiz (on the comeback trail) vs Mike Alverado - Amir Khan vs Victor Cayo - Antonio DeMarco vs Anthony Peterson and more!!!

I hope HBO - Showtime - ESPN and all the different promotional teams truly understand the possibilities of Great matchups between fighters from 135lbs - 140lbs. And with only 5lbs difference...you can easily have matchups of lightweight vs Jr. Welter...(John Molina vs Juan Diaz - Kendall Holt vs Edwin Valero)...and more

    WOW...JMM vs Peterson/Bradley winner...STILL DROOLING!!!

I have seen Bradley take some shots. However He is far more tested than Peterson.

    Bradley by Decision.

There are so many QUALITY fighters at 140lbs that Maidana could potentially fight. I am surprised he has been this in-active since the Ortiz fight.

Pacquio win or lose to Cotto will still be a Star at 140lbs.

I don't see it , Joan Guzman vs Juan Manuel Marquez would light my eyes up, but other than that and Valero, i dont see much, there are better divsions in boxing. Another fight that "lit me up" was Felix Sturm vs Danny Jacobs , that would be awsome if its made.

His handlers might be having a tough time getting him a fight. He is a threat to most in his division and not enough reward. The dude is a frigging warrior.

I don't know if i agree with that!!!

The Peterson brothers, Devon Alexander, Timothy Bradley and Juan Urango would DESTROY Maidana...They would be good fights...But he'll get destroyed in the end.

Remember, a kid in Victor Ortiz dropped him several times...And because Ortiz was young and inexperienced...he did not know how to finish him!!!

And of all these names...The Peterson brothers, Devon Alexander have the Talent to be LEGITIMATE STARS!!!

Victor Ortiz has the "Hollywood De La Hoya Factor".

Meaning he has the Good looks, Charm, Charisma (not to mention speaks fluent "Gringo English") to be a "Main-stream / Pop Culture" Star and he is Close enough to the Mexican Community to be loved and adored by Mexico and Mexican Americans.

If I was his Handlers...I would put him back in the ring with good C Level opponents build his record and name. And then have him fight some "Feather-Fisted" A- Fighters that don't have enough power to hurt him...Mallinaggi or Juan Diaz...

And with the HBO HYPE MACHINE still behind him...Victor Ortiz will be Household name again.

These Fighters need to learn that IN-ACTIVITY is a CURSE!!!

    Gotta Stay ACTIVE!!!

140's an amazing division right now......too bad Torres can't make weight any more, i'd of given an arm and leg to see him fight Maidana, Urango, or Ortiz
