No prob.......I felt the part where they say boxing fans as a whole are very hard to convince of a fighters greatness and that it's a discredit to the sport and the boxers as a whole. Floyd is truly great and so is PAC yet many boxing fans find a why to disect and discredit their ring accomplishments any chance they get.
"Can anybody explain why boxing message board regulars habitually tear down every fighter's résumé? A fighter can't win with these guys. No victory is recognized as legitimate and when a fighter loses he's suddenly past prime or worse, a hype job". this is esb reality.
Insecurity. :deal Fan = fanatics. And for every fanatic there can never be a better fighter than theirs . . . so they break logicall reasoning and reality and alter it to support their claims.
People see through the bull****. People aren't being finicky fans. It's a business, we're buying what we like, just don't sell us on bull****.
Very true, but it also goes a lot for the casual fan. I thought the article was spot on the reality of the sport.
