Personally, aside from the massacres committed by the Us during the Flip-Am wars, I think the American occupation was beneficial. We did kick the Spanish and will win our independence, but it was not gonna last.

We are too strategically placed to be left alone. Germany was just waiting for Spain to get out of the country. The Brits will probably not interfere with German intervention. Only the US has great enough interest to challenge the German advances.

I like him i have a picture with him when not to many people heard of him. It was at the WBHOF banquet,and Bones Adams was there every one was on Bones nutsack,and no one payed Manny no mind,hell of a nice guy and seemed honored that i recognized him and was talking to him while everyone was standing around Bones Adams. After i talked to Bones and asked him if he would fight Manny he said yey but ill kill him look how small he is. Thats so funny looking back at it,i think the roles would be reversed and no one would pay bones to any mind. Pac had just won the JF title knocking out Ledwaba. I went to work and showed the pictures to all the phillipinos I worked with,they didnt even no who he was back then. I think i can honestly say im the one who turned them on to Manny. By the way im Mexican/American and im a Manny fan,although i did root against him ive been waiting for him to fight a non mexican so i can root for him. His Fans are very annoying on Esb though,and its almost making me root for Cotto. THe *******s dont seem to Boxing Fans only care about Manny thats why I dont care for them. Pac's my favorite fighter right now ive watched him for the past 6 years and seeing him go from a incredibly fast and powerful but limited beast who mainly relied on his left hand to a almost complete fighter(He still doesn't fight well on the inside) jumping weight classes and dominating and the p4p #1 guy has been awesome. He's been in a ton of great exciting fight and the only cake walk he's ever had after becoming known was Diaz. I think the only people that don't like Pac dont like him because of his fans which is ******ed, that's like not liking a fighter because of his personal life or religous belief etc. It's what they do in the ring that counts nothing else no one's a angel especially not guys that fight for a living. Also the Puerto Ricans rooting for Cotto but that's normal gotta root for your guy.

 

You said its wrong to not like a guy cause of his personal life or religous beliefs. Well i disagree with you if Manny acted like Froch or Zab Judah i wouldnt like him. I like manny for 2 reasons 1 hes a super nice guy and humble and 2 hes a great fighter and exciting,but if he was a complete ******* id dislike him. ZAb has great natural ability and is a good fighter but hes an ******* so i dont like him plain and simple. Froch i dislike because he cant fight and hes an *******. I used to dislike Mayweather cause i thought he was an ******* but ive always thought he was a great fighter im coming around to him though just think hes misunderstood and it doesnt help that his uncle and dad are 1/2 ******ed.
