Kessler will burst the Andre Ward hype bubble BIGTIME

Again, Calzaghe is an ATG. To insinuate that Ward is a better fighter than JC, at this point in time, is, well, its already been said.

 

This is a great fight but I do agree with the logic that Ward could outbox him ..

 

Kessler will school Ward. I like Ward, but he's not at Kessler's level, particularly at this stage of his career.

Mundine part II.

 

Except that...

Mundine is fast but was much smaller and less reach than Kessler. This meant that Mundine couldn't get much out of his speed.

- Ward is NOT smaller than Kessler
- Ward does NOT have less reach than Kessler

oOOOO...

Ward is far far better schooled and has a much more extensive amateur background than Mundine. Mundine didn't have that to back up his natural abilities, Ward does.

If you want to compare Ward to Mundine, then you have to understand that Ward would be a tuned up and bigger, stronger and far far more skilled version of Mundine. And a smaller, shorter, and far less trained Mundine still took rounds from Kessler... so what is Ward gonna do?

That can work both ways. So don't be so sure.

 

i think andre ward is a very dangerous opponent for kessler. it would be an upset if ward beats kessler but still ward has all the tools to beat anybody. would it surprise me if ward wins? not at all although i would think kessler would be a slight favorite. i see this fight definitely going the full 12 rounds.

But oh well.

A side note - everyone thinks Froch has power correct?
Well Calzaghe had more KO's per same # of fights.

 

Ward will try his best to cheat with his judges, referee, commentators, etc., but he will still lose the fight. He will get knocked out.

 

This is what i think or (fear) will happend if he loses to Kessler, cuz i actually like Ward and wish him the best in future no matter if he win or lose in this tournament!

 

ward has fought no one, his win over a blown up ricardo mayorga( edison miranda) whom top amateurs could have outboxed, is extremely overrated, kessler isnt as fast as ward but is technically equivalent, and has way more power than ward, i think its a good fight, that kessler wins by a clear ud like 8-4 or something, however i do think ward is still good enough to advance to the semis and maybe even rematch kessler in the finals, because even though i think he is a bit unproven who does have a great skill set, and i would def favor him over dirrell and froch and taylor, with abraham being a wild card.

 

Do Dirrell fans think he would beat Ward?

 

What Ward hype? he is a grabber and a keepaway guy....its just that well when was the last time Kessler fought a guy with athletic ability and since the Danish Pastry is a bit of a Statue well a hint of upset in the air but nothing really huge Dirrell is better than Ward. If it where Dirrell then there would be hype
