i would like to have seen haye fight holyfield before valuev

I would not have wanted to see that fight. Haye punches very quick with the right hand, I think he would of stopped Evander. It would have been a good win for Haye. When Evander was younger, he would have beaten Haye up and won a midround knockout, but now it is all Haye. I do give Valuev a chance. If Haye cannot stop Valuev early, I think maybe Haye will tire out in the later rounds.

 

I remember when De La Hoya was ridiculed in some quaters for beating up an ageing Chavez. He almost made it worse by doing it twice and in the second fight beating Chavez at his own game in an attempt to win over the hardcore Mexican fans who thought he had crossed over.

If Haye had stopped Holyfield he would have been derided on this forum and in the media. Haye batters legend / Haye stops warrior etc. We would have been bombarded with threads about how Holyfield would have wiped the floor with Haye in his prime.

I would want to see Haye - Holyfield and much as Klitschko - Holyfield.

It's funny how many people jumped on Haye's back for not fighting either Klitschko (please don't respond to me by saying Haye talked **** and pulled out because I'll put you on my ****ing ignore list) but now he is earning his shot by taking on another fighter. I'm sure if Haye wins that fight can be made. People who claim it can't and that Haye is therefore ducking Valuev are ******ed.

If Lewis and Tyson can fight despite the opposing TV companies and promotors and Valuev can be in talks with Vitali, then I'm sure something can be done if the demand is there. Even if Haye has to rid us of Ruiz in the meantime.

 

are you insane, putting someone as old and thats taken so many punches as The Holy One in with a vicious puncher with speed like Haye, worst idea ever...the man could die
