He don't seem to wanan step up, gifted athlete with speed etc, but his head seems to be in lala land in some fights.
I did like the way he want against Kirby....looked very good. It will be interesting to see what he does next.
He's inconsistant though, looks great some fights, then others like when he was fighting Col wilson looked liek his head was in another universe, Lewis was obviously seeing the same thing in the corner that night he kept trying to get Solo to listen but he sat there with a blank look on his face not hearing a thing.
Yeah I know what your saying....however I think after getting KTFO in round 1 UFC style and then a draw with Col, I think Sol has made his mind up its now or never. It was his best performance against Kirby and I hope his next fight is the same.
Dont be suprised if he fights Richard Tutaki next.................you heard it hear first!!! He needs to rematch Wilson ASAP, especially after Wilsons win over Hoppa!
what about after one or two fights haumono take a chance against someone like this guy: http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=17779&cat=boxer. or http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=141021&cat=boxer. he will find it tough but he has to step up sooner or later i suppose.
He beats the first guy...second guy good fight...I would still back Sol after the Kirby fight....but its the best test for him to date.
Here's the dark horse of Oz heavyweights. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=390837&cat=boxer
Tend to agree.....I know this is the funny type of boxing with kicking and all but you can see he has power in both hands. [ame]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YtObzS2UYs[/ame]
yeah but would he get away with that in a ten rnd fight. he just throws wild punches and leaves himself wide open. solo, hoppa, leapai etc. would look that good too if they came out of the blocks like that but in a boxing match with a decent title or payday u can't afford to begin like that because if your opponent weathers the storm for the 1st rnd or 2 then you are in a bit of trouble. but in bens case who knows, he may be just as effective if he did pace himself. he doesn't seem too concerned about boxing anyway by the sounds of it. and i'd doubt any of the good fighters would risk fighting him.
