Floyd on his interview with RA the rugged man said that he fought baldomir cause he was the champ although he has 11 losses at the time. On his interview with brian kenny, he said SSM does not deserve a fight with him because he has 5 losses, is not a draw although he IS THE LINEAL champ at 147.

    SAY WHAT???

I challenge any floyd nuthugger to explain this :patsch

I think he just wanted a belt in a new division, now hes achieved that. He doesn't really care about getting it again.

when you're not a big draw, you'll fight anybody to make a name.

when you're a big draw, you can be more selective.

    mosley don't make business sense.

    Avoiding all the big fights?
Some of you guys need to get your head out of your asses. Fighting Baldomir made more business sense and he was the recognized champion @ the time. That was the most sensible fight for Floyd to make @ the time. @ this point in time Shane is not a draw, how quickly people forget, FLoyd was calling out Mosley for yrs, and Mosley ducked and ducked and ducked. Now that Oscar is retired and Golden Boy doesnt have their hand in any big fights, they are trying to do anything to get their hand in a big fight.
If Pac beats Cotto, we will see Floyd vs Pac, if Cotto beats Pac, you probably will see that fight. People need to understand that boxing is a business, and just like with any business you are going to make the moves that is convenient for you and your family.
Every1 wants a job that will pay them the most money without them having to do much, so dont fault a guy for doing the same thing in his line of work. I have no problem with the way Floyd has handled his career. If the dudes we want Floyd to fight win, and build some stock in their name, fights will happen, its as simple as that.

Say what you want but when you are on top, and you are soo much better than anyone else, every move you make will never get the right respect.
If he wouldve chose to fight Margarito instead, people wouldve still said, who the hell is Margo, Baldomir beat Zab and Gatti, hes the real champ. Hes damned if he does and dammed if he doesnt. 2 me if fighters want to get in there with Floyd, then do your job, build some stock in your name, and then you will get your shot its as simple as that with me. Floyd cant fight every1, there is always going to be some1 who the public thinks can beat him. Its just the nature of the game.

Floyd didn't make business sense for DLH when Oscar picked him.

Before Oscar, Floyd never scored more than 400k in pay per view sales. In fact the three PPV's before Oscar he scored a top of 375K and that included a fight against Gatti in which the majority of people filling Atlantic City were Gatti fans.

Floyd needs to stop bullshitting and fight Shane, otherwise he'll FOREVER have that against him.
