Find me a SINGLE interview where he shows ANY signs of being cocky.

Correct. It was indeed Porter, not Castillo. From the looks of it, Pac certainly wasn't ready for it and didn't expect Porter to maul him the way he did. Freddy was then talking to Pac like a beaten up kid in the school yard, as Pac didn't seem to appreciate it (the abrupt rough sparring) too much.

 

When they showed Hatton watching Manny train "Right hook, slide under, right hook, slide under. Same move everytime" :yep

That was the first sparring with Shawn. Pac was manhandled the first time. Pac team acknowledged this so did Porter on his interview. Then Pac adjusted after that and it was Porters' turn to get handled. Porters' coach was worried about his fighter being handled by the smaller Pac. Well HBO only shows us what they wants us to see. Its all part of the marketing. You should know, you know.:yep

 

What people dont get is, it is easy to understand how a boxer fights. But when fight time comes..trying to neutralize your opponents style is not really an easy thing. Its a lot different when your watching and when your actually in the ring. And that what makes fighters like Pac and Pbf special. You watch them do the same thing over and over again, giving you ample time to do something about it. But come fight night, they still end up stumbling.:bbb

 

Porter is a strong middle weight he won that round but got dropped in others.

 

They were showing that footage in the context of Roach's $1000 bet for anyone to knock Pac down.
