Southpaw Haye

Matt Hatton, Haye, Ward and Pac are not really safe.

 

Haye is a smart guy - he knows that Valuev is so basic, that an awkward opponent can probably stop him getting anything going.

It makes sense of him talking to Johnny Nelson - understand how to put an opponent off their game by being awkward.

 

alot safer than predicting stoppages, and there all probably bookie favorites for the win

 

Matt Hatton and Ward are significant underdogs.

Haye and Pac are favourites by a similar margin but I think their opponents are priced generously all things considered. I'd consider them closer to even money, I'm just leaning that way slightly..especially in the case of Haye.

 

I haven't got to much to say about this fight really.

I see Haye winning this rather easily from about the 3rd or 4th on. David will just beat Big Foot to the punch in the center, mix in some hooks and body work off the straights, reset with some lateral movement and take a lopsided UD.

On Haye's stamina, the only time I've seen Haye drain the gas tank is when he threw nothing but homeruns at one jacked up speed for 5 rounds non stop. I just can't see how an oversized slug will allow for Haye to even try this bull rush. I see comfortable counters and staying loosie goosie throughout. Haye will even start to bounce on the toes and have fun in there.

 

Haye gets sloppy when he goes for the big finish. With a bit more discipline and focus on using his fundamentals he would be much more effective, but not so entertaining.

 

yeah sorry ward would be, kessler i think will stop him imo. Haven't got a clue with Hatton although i think he'll win.

 

i personally think Haye got the power to give the beast his first loss and by KO

 

Chageav has already beaten Valuev

Perhaps Haye is trying to copy Chagaev's style to beat Valuev.

 

CAn Haye win a UD in germany tho? I dont think he can they love a home town decision over there (even more than we do)

The blue print for beating Valuev has already been set. Its weather Haye can put his own spin on things.I think he is looking for the knock out he wants to make a statement so he is going to start fast and see how Valuev reacts
