I wrote that because even at that time people were saying he was boring..I mean as soon as he fought baldo he was labeled boring....prior to that he was rarely mentioned as a boring fighter...the point being it is very easy to label a fighter based upon 1 or a few fights rather then the whole of his career

As for recently ....I didn't feel his last 2 fights were boring at all...

Hatton was an awesome win and JMM wasn't as good as Gatti but JMM is a lot better then Gatti...

sorry just my take... i cant say he is boring....

I would rather watch the Klitschkos fight than Void any day.

Under welterweight, yes. Since he's gone to welterweight, not really. The way he pissed around at light middleweight and gave away so many rounds in the Oscar fight drove me nuts. I don't want to watch the VS Baldomir type of Mayweather. I want to see the guy that fought Corrales, Burton, Gatti, etc.

    Depends.

He's had his fair share of stinkers but when he's on its a thing of beauty to watch.

When he produces his best it is a ring masterclass. I find it hard not to enjoy that.

In the past I didn't liked, but now I find Mayweather's style as one of the purest in recent years

I love watching him fight when he shows his full arsenel of skills (Corrales, Gatti)

But I can get a little frustrated when he is just potshotting because he's got more ability than he shows (De La Hoya, Marquez)

Exactly, what the **** happened to that guy? I hate watching him now.....pot shot-wild duck(almost butting the canvas)-run.....repeat repeat repeat.....

There is so much I can't stand about the way he has fought and who he has fought at 140 and above. If he just carried on fighting elite guys and had a couple of losses(as is the norm when the elite face one another) he would be held in much higher regard by everyone who hates the **** for NOT doing it. FACT

    Scar,

I have high respects with you. Skills. No problem. He has lots of skills enough to win him a "w"

Can you imagine if there were 2 PBF's waiting for each other to box and make a mistake in the ring?! You would hardly see any action at all! Both bothers avoiding to be hit?! Both waiting for the other to make mistakes?!

It's going to be a certified snooze fest! insn't it?! Probably our fingers are enough to count their punches per round if there will be 2 pbf's in the ring!

Can't tell whether I like it or not because I can't seem to finish watching his recent fights without falling asleep. Great replacement for a sleeping pill though.

Yes I do, the guy is the best pure boxer IMO....

I have a feeling that the people that don't like floyd's stye or other defensive slick fighters are the ones that love mma, or will defect to mma...
