I missed the 1st 20 minutes, but loved it.
I thought Josh won, but 50-45. I don't thinks so.

Couple of hours later, I'm flicking through the channels & there's a replay, sure enough 20 minutes late.
I'm having lunch today, flicked through the channels while I'm chomping & Contender is on. On the beach, 20 minutes into the show.

How's that for a complete & utter ****-up? I still don't know what went on before the beach scene.:lol:

Clenshaw - Bum - Fat, not conditioned (disgusting stamina), average defence & has no bang on his punches. Will not win his next fight.

Kani - Bum - No bang on his punches, average defence, average stamina

I think Kani won it 3-2, he landed more, cleaner powershots, showed far more athleticism & skill.

Clenshaw took the whole series on a couple of days notice.

Why would you call two honest pros bums? I think it says more about you than them. Both have held the Australian title...

Clenshaw wasnt in shape, by that I dont mean boxing shape, just in shape, fit, slightly conditioned, remotely athletic. He is fat, slow & gassed out in round 2. How can you call him an honest pro when he looks like he just got back up from the pub **** house floor after a big night on the curries and 50 odd schooners.

An honest pro, as you call it, will keep in shape at all times, and more importantly, has skill.

And are you referring to the big bad Australian Title the whole boxing world wants ? :rofl

You're on fire Aaron. He was retired up until a day before this was due to start and he got a late call up. As for bagging the Australian title, well, the more left unsaid the better. Now go away and play in traffic.

He was retired since his last fight in May? :rofl

Just what Australian Boxing needs..... broke tradies from the druitt with delusional fantasies of grandeur.

I admire any bloke who jumps in the ring, hes got balls and heart, but lacks skill. People should know their limits.

What's your point, caller? Yeah, he announced his retirement after he lost in May. I'm guessing he did what retired fighters generally do...not train.

I don't think anyone is calling him the second coming of Harry Greb or Stanley Ketchel, do you?

As for knowing his limits, off the top of my head he's been the Aussie champion in 2 weight divisions. I doubt he's out of his depth at all.

An Aussie champion? In ALL 2? **** me, watch out Pavlik, here comes the superbad aussie champ with 16 Losses, all by way of tomato cans.

He is well out of his depth, and his next fight will be a TKO loss. Props to him though, I admire a man who steps in the ring with balls bigger than his skill level.

    Well Aaron,

    Josh Clenshaw..... A bum!
    Israel Kani ...... A bum!

Not from what I saw last night.

I saw two former Aussie champions giving it their best shot.

Neither will win a world title, neither will be a future hall of famer, but real boxing people know what these two are about.

Maybe one day someone will explain it to you.

We don't see enough of the rounds to really be able to make a decision for ourselves

From what i saw the decision looked ok except for the 50-45 scoreline
