    Hatton had had the same WBA WELTERWEIGHT title that Mosley has right now. It's not like 147 rendered him useless. Why would Floyd have gone down in weight for a guy who had held a major world title in his weight class? Is Cortez a crappy referee? Yes. Hell yes. But that doesn't make Floyd a defensive genius or an unshakable technical fighter or make Hatton a frustrated, desperate bull, running head first into Floyd like he never learned to box.
