"Roach is wrong here. Every time they fight they take risks. Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Frazier, Holyfield etc all wish they could have dominated in the manner the Klitschkos dominate" :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl God bless Freddie Roach for stirring up the hornets nest on this one.
not bad but... I think every fighter would love to dominate their opponents every round, take no damage and get the stoppage. it's a valid point. although many of these fighters did just that during their absolute peak. Poster just took it a bit too far.
Klit fans do not seem to realise that neither brother has ever been legit champ in the same way that the these guys were. Neither ever will be.
That's entirely the point my friend....people think I'm laughing at comparisons but the most amusing thing about the post is the fact that neither one of them has ever been undisputed champion, so calling them dominant is bull****.
They call for people to treat the brothers as individuals... when it suits :yep If Vitali and Wlad are "ruling together" then Lewis ruled the division with Holyfield, etc.
They have each other to fight. I'm not saying that they should fight each other, but not doing so comes at a price. The price is that neither dominates.
this one is good, but there has been better. i was actually wondering when you were gonna pick this one up though
FW-You don't have to be an undisputed champ to be considered dominant. Larry Holmes did it. Did he unify every belt? All you can do is fight the best available opponents and dominate. Moreover, Wlad has lineage claim to three of the four straps (IBF,WBA,WBO) and the Ring Belt. He also beat Peter (future WBC champ) before Vitali did. So, it's not like he's some paper champ. The man has earned his status as a legit champ...
It is the fault of some of the lunatics who frequent this forum that they deliberately refuse to accept this fact.
What a crock of ****. Whenever anyone is at the top of the heavyweight division people have always criticized the level of the opposition. It's funny hearing people like you talk.... talking all nostalgically about Lennox Lewis. Do you really not recall hearing the same thing when he was king? That the opponents were jokes (Michael Grants) or never weres (Francois Botha) or past primes (Mike Tyson). Speaking of Tyson, they said the same about him.... Overhyped (Spinks) ... past their prime (Larry Holmes). Speaking of Holmes.........
