WBC approves Berto/Mosley unification on 1 condition...

    Check this out;

    "Welterweight world champion Andre Berto of the U.S. requested approval for a voluntary title defense on January 30 against WBA champion Shane Mosley of the U.S. The request was approved on the condition that Mosley publicly apologize to the WBC for abandoning the WBC title to challenge Antonio Margarito for the WBA title in January, 2009. No. 2 ranked Luis Collazo of the U.S. was ordered to fight No. 3 ranked WBC International champion Selcuk Aydin of Turkey for the interim world title, with the winner to be the mandatory challenger."

    The WBC has lost their damn minds. If they didn't want to approve the unification match, then just say no. No way in hell should Mosley be giving a public apology. He did nothing wrong. Is the WBC going to apologize when they adandon fighters via dubious strippings?

    A public apology? What for? What's the purpose of asking for an apology for something so frivolous?

    I guess they want Mosley to remember who is "the boss" in this situation. Stupid.

    WBC better back up, they're making some stupid decisions of late. Do they really want all of Golden Boy Promotions to turn their back on them???

    Whats the deal with this, was mosley the number 1 wbc welter or somehting? cos he sure as **** wasnt champion before fighting margarito

    He was the interim champ I believe. What idiot is going to turn down millions to fight for a real title so that they can hold onto a worthless interim title?

    I think Shane was the WBC interim champ or something but I'm not too sure.
