Cotto's an intelligent fighter who can box, has great recuperative powers, an effective jab, good power, throws great combos, works just as well on the inside and outside, isn't scared of going to the body, and as a leftie who boxes orthodox is great at switching to southpaw when he wants to dig in (the boy's got serious flow - it's not unusual to see him switch stances dozens of times in a single round) He's also been tested by some seriously dangerous fighters and has found a way to come out on top every time except that one time with the guy who got caught with plaster in his gloves... who he was beating for the first half of the fight, who failed to put him away decisively, and who he was even with on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

If anything, I'd say he's underrated.
