Trinidad and Mosley were welterweights though - two of the most powerful welters of the modern era.

Pacquiao is a former flyweight. Of course he doesn't pack the punch those two do up at welter.

But, Pac still hurt Oscar, and he will hurt Cotto. :good

De La Hoya's face after the fight sure looked like Pac hits hard...so what he didn't get knocked out, as in dropped, and counted out? Spinks, Holmes, and Berbick couldn't seriously hurt Ali.

Was Oscar wearing panty hose when he made his pick?

Pacquiao's body shots hurt DLH more than the head shots.

He doubled him over on a few occassions.

2:45 of the clip. No, they didn't hurt Pac but they weren't bad shots for a guy closing out his getting beat down.

Pac is awesome. I don't like him but he's a great fighter, obviously. Oscar's corner was ready to throw in the towel and were the ones initially telling Oscar they were going to stop the fight. When you have your corner telling you that you can't take anymore punishment, completely stopping believing in you, it's obviously going to make you think twice before getting back into the ring. Oscar was persuaded to stop fighting and at that moment I think it was an easy decision to say fuk it.

Oscar didn't care about his legacy. He wanted one last big payday before he rode off into the sunset. I bet he thought he would win the fight based on his size alone. Thats why he didn't pick Cotto or Margarito. Cause he knew he'd get his ass kicked harder. Since their bigger than Manny.

Face it your boy sold out, but thats alright seeing his face beaten up was worth it. The look on his face at the end was priceless. He was saying to himself "Screw this, I already got my money in the bank. Time for me to play golf now, I'll just quit".

If a fighter doesn't actually hurt you then why do you quit?

DLH is completely embarassed that he chose a tiny guy for an easy and huge payday and he not only got beat, but it wasn't even competitive, and the reason he says these comments is pure ego, which is the same reason he quit, he knew the next few rounds were going to be even more embarassing than the ones that came before, and he would be retreating until he got knocked out. His EGO is bigger than his WARRIOR spirit.

Really how freaking embarassing is it for him to say that Pac did not hurt him? So you quit then exactly why? Because you were behind on the cards and discouraged? All the people paid good money and you just quit rather than man up and try to knock the tiny man out that had been knocked out twice before? You.........just............quit?
