I thought that was an unbiased and very well worded argument for and against each fighter. I was generally very impressed with what he said about both fighters, and i totally agree with pretty much everything he said. On the weight\chin issue. I think Khans chin will imporve due to him being what i think is his "comfortable" weight. I can also see him possibly going up to WW when his body matures further. Khan round 7 is my prediction. BTW i am actually going to this fight. I cant wait!!!!
I don't think we've seen enough evidence either way to be able to say the move to 140 has improved Khans chin. He's only fought the shell of MAB and the light punching Kotelnik.
then you must be stupid, gomez and willie limond were super feather weights and they dropped knan...kotelnik although not a big puncher he is a natural 140 lb and he caught khan with harder shots then gomez and limond make of that what you will
I think people over exaggerate about Khan's chin, his chin cant be that bad because no ones chin can be that bad, can it? DLH used to cut weight early his career and got dropped a couple of times so even though he might never have a great or good chin, it will probably improve with not cutting so much weight.
Even if he did ad won - he'd still get slated for his chin - some people cannot be pleased so theres no point trying to please them lol
I think with a good Prescott win he can at least move on in the eyes of the public; it would show that he has improved and that his chin isn't a factor in every fight since he's learned to actually protect it. Until then, it's always suspect, and his main area of weakness by his detractors.
Theres no need to be a *****, just debate the points eh? Kotelnik (a light puncher) caught Khan with very little of note, the fact the stood up to them when Limond (who caught him with a combo and with his feet badly positioned feet) managed to drop him proves very little. I'd also question whether Kotelnik punches harder than Gomez OR whether he he caught Khan with harder punches than Gomez.
alot of the knockdowns khan suffered pre kotelnik had to do with mass muscle on his upper body and his skinny legs. Since prescott alex ariza has put a lot of muscle on khans legs which will enable khan to take much shots.
yes Khan's pitter pat flurries that only land on the gloves are Tyson like. Khan fights like a robot has an awful Glass Jaw and is a runner. He is awful.
I don't understand this statement at all. Khan has never been known for his skinny legs prior to getting knocked out, or knocked down. And I don't see how putting muscle on one's legs will actually make your chin any tougher. Also, let's not forget that Khan seems to have an disposition to doing the chicken dance whenever he gets hit on the temple, as evidenced in his amateur days when he even wore a frigging head-guard! its pretty much common sense mate, if u have skinny legs ur ablility to take a punch is much weaker than if u have strong thick legs. If u have a table with six legs, its gonna be stronger than a table with just 2 legs. (couldnt think of a better anallergy). And he was known for his skiny legs pre prescott, a big deal was made of his 17 inch kneck and massive upper body.
