Let's just put it this way - I thought Duddy lost to Yory Boy Campas, and at the very least, the fight was closer than the scorecards. That probably tells you the level Duddy is at. Basically, he'll be a glorified journeyman, and he'll probably get beaten down pretty badly when he steps up to face a top 10 type fighter. IMO, he's about on par with Mora, only he has a stronger punch and a more exciting style.
If Mora refused to fight Taylor because he didn't want to face the pro-Taylor crowd in Memphis then he won't face Pavlik anywhere in the U.S. Duddy probably. Abraham would be good, but I don't think he'd face Pavlik unless Pavlik came to Europe. Pavlik's going to want to face someone local first to appease his fanbase. ( the money would probably be better too )
If the Taylor re-match is pushed back fight Mora in December on HBO. Fight Duddy St Patty's weekend 2008, in NYC also on HBO. Fight Taylor in July 08 on PPV. Build up the hype and cash in on the re-match.
Both of those fighters don't deserve a shot. If there's no immediate rematch with Taylor, Pavlik should go for one of the other champions.
