We have been told for months on here how David Haye was going to bring 'excitement' to the Heavyweight Division. Instead he ran the whole damn fight and fought like Shannon Briggs throwing 10 punches a round.

The fight could have gone either way I am not even going to argue who won because to be honest I could not score the fight there was no action.

Why was Haye scared to engage with Valuev? Where was the speed and power we were told about?

That fight was awful. I don't EVER want to hear a Haye nuthugger on here say anything about the Klitschko's being boring. That fight was on the level of Byrd-Williamson or Ruiz-Rahman. A total stinker.

The only thing that bores me is your horrible predictions that are nearly always wrong, and then you still lack humility afterwards. Note: basing predictions of chins exclusively does NOT work.

It was pretty obvious Haye had the right tactics, a 6'2 220lb guy can not stand and trade with the big man. I'd like to have seen him do more work, however. He left himself open to being on the wrong end of what would have been a bad decision based on clean punching.

The speed was evident throughout, Valuev didn't land anything all night. The power was shown in the last round, he had Valuev doing a chicken dance, the only man in 50+ fights to achieve that. Try watching closer and you'll notice these things and probably also improve your prediction rate.

You look a bit of a **** mate

1-you been saying haye was a glass jawed joke and would be ko'd with a jab apparently :patsch
2-speed and power did you not see the chicken dance valuev was doing in the 12 ?

3-got to agree was an awful fight but haye fought a smart fight against a guy who out weighed by 98 ilbs

    He is clueless mate

He has watched to many rocky films or something and all he cares about is his weird obsession with british fighters and of course chins.

He really should get some help with his chin addiction and im sure we can find him a sponsor to help out with that.

David Haye (Glass jaw) WBA CHAMP U.K
Amir Khan (Glass Jaw) WBA CHAMP U.K

You need to update your Glass jaw rankings, by the way make sure you put WORLD CHAMPION next to their names you joke.

I thought Haye done what he had to do, granted he should of threw more punches like in the twelfth. He would of stopped him if he fought like that the whole fight but he didn't want to risk he bargaining tool for the klits. Fair play to him the UK now has a HW champ and I think we're going to get some good fights out of Haye

David Haye is the Heavyweight champion of the world. No heavyweight has stepped in the ring with Haye and emerged victorious. Haye went into the Giant's back yard and took his belt.
Haye was understandably cautious, he was the much smaller man. Now, if Haye was himself a ginat man who was cautious against a smaller man who does not hit hard, that would be dull, but HAye is exicitng. Haye even has an exciting haircut. His cornrows say that he's hip and ready to get down. Other heavyweight fighters have conservative short cuts that leave the crowd uninterested.

Ok, Haye had a "Wlad night" this evening. It happens. Valuev is hard to look good against, not even Chagaev was ever close to dominating the giant. I think most look at Haye's career, not just one fight. Tyson had a few boring fights. In the end styles make fights.

it's Valuev's fault. His so much bigger than Haye and he stays in his safe zone throwing jabs. You expect Haye to charge in and hand him the knock out in a silver platter? **** that. Haye's too small for this guy, he had the right idea, but if he had hurt him earlier, with the knowledge that he CAN hurt him, he would have done better and taken more chances.

I did think he was too inactive, but the saize difference was immense.

you can't be serious Jack Dempsey could not have KOed Haye with all the running he was doing. Did you ever think he was running because he has a Glass Jaw and he knows it? It was an awful 'fight' if you even want to call it that.

I can flip that argument, and state that Valuev was unprepared. He absolutely has no clue how to use his size. Plus He knew that Haye wasn't going to sit there and trade, yet he had no clue how to cut the ring.

We have also been told for months, that Haye would be brutally knocked out. What happened to that, you clueless ****?

    Haye proved his chin.
