A fighter gives up nearly 100lbs in weight and 1 foot in height - breaks his hand in round 2 - does what no one has done before with said handicaps and you still dont give credit. It was never going to be pretty, he got the job done.

I hope there arent any mayweather fans dissing him either - that would be ridiculous - mayweather fights the same every fight - only he refuses to fight anyone his own size! What a joke.

Also, how can anyone seriously compare this to the direll fight - besides the riddick physical discrepencies listed above Direll grabbed and held for the whole fight

We have a new champ, who is exciting - will bring the fight and has some sweet skills.

    ...to the fututre...

    :thumbsup

As an american, I root for David Haye everytime he fights. I think he has tremedous skills and I really hope he dethrones the Klits to become the undisputed HW champ. HAYEMAKER BITCHES!!!

    Respect.

Lets let the dust settle. I think he counter punches wlad, connects and takes him out.

Vitali - i dont know, he like to counter punch himself, they both are very cautious like haye was tonight (minus the speed) - If anyone in the division can check vitalis chin it will be haye, however i think a descision is the way to go against him.

as an american Haye impressed me tonight. Sure he could have thrown more but he did an excellent job and hurt a huge guy.

Delighted for him. I thought Valuev would of got to him early and taken him out but Haye fought a perfect gameplan and got the win. He'll probably be a little dissapointed that he couldn't stop the bigman, especially when he looks at how he hurt him in the final round. But he went to Germany and did the business. Well impressed with his stamina aswel.

Big well done to Haye, disciplined, stuck to his game plan, Valuev couldn’t get anywhere near him, but the low out put meant the rounds were close. Better quality from Haye who deserved the win.
