Haye had been saying for months he was going to knock Valuev out. Instead he ran the whole fight. Have you seen the punch stats? They are abysmal.
It's calling using ring 'intelligence' which is why valuev rarely landed, haye made him look like an amateur. It's the most exciting fight valuev has been in so can't complain
Just like Dirrell did to Froch right? I mean Froch landed basically the same amount of shots that Valuev landed and was outboxed.
I'll have to watch the fight when it's available on youtube, but several article I read so far say that it wasn't an exciting fight. BUT you still have to give Haye credit for beating Valuev. Although he didn't get the KO that he was promising but the articles mentioned that Haye didn't throw that many punches and that it was boring. Is this true? Has anyone seen any fighting clips yet?
You can't blame it all on Haye Rico. Valuev should been the agrresor with his sheer size. He (Valuev) should of taken a page out Froch or Cotto; roughen up Haye. It's not like Haye has the best defense either, yet all Valuev did was act like a dog chasing a dogie treat.
First, Valuev DID land frequently late in the fight, but not enough to give him the fight, and obviously not with enough authority (couldn't KO anyone in years). Second, Haye staggered Valuev with a punch to the NECK ARTERIES. Wow, it really takes so much power to stagger someone with a hammerfist into the throat. Try to watch slow motions next time. Third, Wlad in his lowest output fight against a lefty deadbent on making the fight a stinker threw five times as much as "running man" Haye. The guy who brings excitement .... yadda yadda yadda. Let's see how many presidents will be in the oval office before Haye "considers" fighting either Klitschko. Last, how many top notch heavies have been in the ring with Haye ? How many top notch heavies did Haye run from to not lose hjis first title fight ? I hope it was a joke to mention "no heavy emerged victorious against him". This fight has shown that it was all talk how he would best, dominate and overkill Valuev. He always intended to run and go for a small margin points win, eating as few puinches as he could muster. Of course, the smart tactics, but he could have done more if he wants to be seen as that valiant force he was made out to be. Even freaking 59 years old Holyfield attacked Valuev more in most of the rounds.
People have to take into account what Valuev is like. He's not a good fighter but he's so ****ing tall and strong its not easy to go in there and just trade with this guy. Near impossible infact, thats why a lot of Valuev's fights have been 'boring'. How many of Haye's other fights are 'boring'? Exactly. Haye did what he had to do to win, the only real way he could win...and it sticks in peoples craw :yep
what are you on about, he fought the best way to beat valuev. Valuev hardly landed a punch. I wonder how many power punches landed? You gotta get hit to get knocked out.
K-man get a grip, as a Wlad nuthugger you should be used to watching uneventful /boring fights. It's the first fight I saw that was boring from Haye, no big deal. Grant it, a fight against Ruiz is never exciting. Though I do believe a fight against Wlad would produce fireworks, both men hit hard, have great skills, and Wlad's glass chin always makes for enertaining moments. I can't wait for that fight in 2010.
Shut up u silly tart. Bet davids balls in your mouth taste as sour as the grapes u gotta swallow! Haha! David broke his hand and he still almost KO'd valuev in round 12 - he's gna murder wladimir and UD vitali. More excitement in the fight than all of the bitchkos fights put together. Now.. FACK OFF! :hi:
Your posts get worse. You were completely wrong in your prediction then don't even have the balls to admit it, you just come up with yet another bull**** thread.
