No, it's to play the patriot card like a cheap ****.

He trains in the OCCUPIED part of Cyprus, as a Turk. Very supportive of the British troops, but doesn't give a **** of his Turkish brothers invading a different country and him staying in the occupied area happily.

So he's patriotic and classy to some troops, but doesn't give a **** about other troops from his roots? What about for all the innocents his fellow countrymen killed when they invaded, where he now relaxes and trains without a care in the world, or for the significance of WHERE he trains?

This is what ****s me off about Haye, if he stuck to his guns so to speak he would be a lot more likeable to me, but he is doing a lot of things PURELY for publicity and contradicts himself a fair few times.

He trains in cyprus because adam booths family is based over there.
Haye was born in London, hes fully british.

 

And we all go on holiday to Spain every year. So we're all ****s because in the 16th Century the spanish invaded South America and enslaved its people.

 

I was surprised to hear he lives in North Cyprus, always just assumed he lived in Greek Cyprus. Strange, the Turkish Cypress is supposedly a bit of a shithole compared to rest of the island.

 

why has he in the past had the turkish flag on his shorts alongside the british flag if hes not turkish?
