I believe the WBA is a corrupt orginization, and that tonights outcome was FIXED

manhattanboxer3's definition of a fixed fight: loser lands, at best, eight or none punches all night. The winner dodges every piunch, shows extraordinary footwork to spin out of corners when trapped, lands more blows, and lands the only authorative punches.

I agree , I said the same thing on two earlier threads. The WBA were gaining nothing from Valuev as champion. Haye is generating plenty of publicity and will be in bigger fights than Valuev. 3% sanctioning fees of bigger fights makes sense for the WBA. Valuev fights were generally boring and people didn't want to watch him.

For me Holyfield did a lot more than Haye when he lost to the big man. Maybe the WBA didn't want Evander as champ.

I have to agree with that. I wonted Haye to win but this wasnt right,.

 

I also sat ringside in Boston watching Ricky Hatton get beat by Collazo. Ricky got that decision because of who he was and the potential he had to be in big fights.

 

Valuev's reaction was the same as it always is.

its my fault really, i just didnt think you could win a fight from ineffective aggression and hitting nothing but air. it was silly of me to think landing more punches and dodging punches to boot could win you a fight:roll:

 

It was ****ing rigged from the start.

 

unless there was another person in the ring that valuev was fighting then ill give you the benefit of the doubt.

 

However, it wasn't the same. Valuev usually smiles and has a half-hearted raise of the arms.

He didn't this time. He was bettered, and he knew it. And if yer a proud guy, you don't mind being bettered - just not bAttered. And he wasn't that.
