why didn't dawson call out cloud???!!!

Not enough money yet for a Cloud fight is the main reason. A Dawson Pascal fight can sell much more, especially in Pascals area vs a Cloud fight. Cloud needs a couple more big fights. But either Cloud or Pascal will cause Dawson trouble. Im really high on Cloud (pun intended) after his fight vs Woods. I know Woods is older but he is a seasoned vet and Cloud brought it to the guy like he hasnt taken it since RJJ.

 

Dawson vs Cloud had been one of those "planning for the future" fights HBO loves to do. They wanted Cloud to be on the Tarver/Dawson II card but they couldn't come to terms. After that was done, they wanted Tarver-Johnson II and Cloud on the same card. Cloud and company didn't come to terms and Cloud wound up fighting Woods on FNF.

Basically Cloud's people have irked HBO and thus they get backburner treatment.

I also think Pascal's ability to move tickets comes into play as well, as you've mentioned.

 

Dawson is a nightmare matchup for Cloud - not vice versa. Dawson is taller, with better length, and far superior hand and foot speed. Dawson dominates Cloud.

 

The Glen Johnson that brought about a controversial close fight the first go around (2nd time tonight was all Chad), would be multiplied by 100 with cloud. More pressure, greater speed, greater power, great stamina. Chad hasnt met that combo yet. He has fought great pros/vets, but not a young hungry fighter with the talent that Cloud brings. Pascal also would make for a similarly interesting fight. I think Chad would try and fight Mayweather style but is not refined enough nor diciplined enough to stick to the game plan and would get in exchanges/succomb to the aggresive pressure that Cloud could bring. Just my opinion, could be very wrong.

 

Without any of the veteran craft or technical ability or defense. Could Cloud beat Dawson? Absolutely. Anybody with Cloud's power and pressure can deliver a beating. Cloud reminds me of a LHW Margarito to be honest.

Fact is Cloud wouldn't have a clue as to how to handle the way Dawson defends himself. Not only that but Cloud has never faced a body puncher like Dawson. Cloud has one name to hang his hat on and that's a very shot Clinton Woods.

I think Pascal would be a much tougher fight assuming his gas tank stays with it.

 

I did a poll to see what ESB thought of a Cloud V Dawson fight and 66% picked Dawson by UD so far. 2 voted uninterested and 1 voted for my mother. I don't know what that means.

 

Cloud is a crude brawler that was almost beatten by a 40 years old Woods. Dawson would badly outbox Cloud and stop him in the late rounds.

Calling out Cloud would do nothing, they wanted to build the fight but cloud wasnt interested, Now that cloud has picked up a title I think that they want to fight some soft touches. Thats fine, but dont be blaming Dawson for Cloud not wanting to fight.

 

I did casually forget about Adamek, who has turned out to be quite the fighter. So I do have to shut up now about this.

 

It means your mother ain't the home wrecker she used to be brew:yep...umh I mean..it means that ESB fight predictors give cloud a better chance then I would of not getting knocked out.

 

so what if he did call out cloud, it's not his call who he fights it's all bout the money and the promoters
