Haye-Valuev: ANOTHER Example of Why We Need 15 Round Fights!

    ....And there was many rounds where Valuev didn't land ANY punches.

    Haye did a similar thing to Valuev as Dirrell did to Froch (bet you thought Dirrell wasn't running scared in that fight!), only Dirrell was the one who started looking dejected as the fight went on. This is why Froch won that bout.

    David used speed and movement to stay out of range - a common practise in boxing when you are the lighter/faster man. He is not an in-fighter so couldn't bob and weave inside, like say Tyson did. He kept it on the outside where his boxer-puncher style works best. When he did let go on occasion he landed the best 15 shots of the contest and was clearly getting the better of the tiring and waining champion towards the end. This left the judges feeling like Haye would have won had it continued.

    Truthfully, I'd LOVE if we had 20 round fights, like in the REAL old days. But that's just me. More boxing for the buck, baby!!
