THE KLITS fIGHT ON THE BACK fOOT DESPITE HAVING ALWAYS HAVING A HEIGHT, REACH AND WEIGHT ADVANTAGE.

Mayrunner does the same every fight - yet its a boxing 'masterclass' :deal

Haye has a 90+% KO ratio, i think we can allow him this fight given >1 foot & 100lbs and reach advantage of valuev. :deal

I seem to remember that the only fighter to go the distance with vitali also matched him for size (both 6' 8") - despite being pretty rubbish he took him the distance... :deal

See it for what it is people.

And the little kiddies running around the forum copy and pasting 'glass jaw'. Come on, say something interesting - and true, just once. I dare you.

Ok, lets see how many punches vitali throws against some one 7' 8" with an 88 inch reach weighing 360+ lbs...

Jesus, haye had arreola out in SPARRING - i.e. huge gloves and headgear - and it took 800 punches for vitali to not even ko the same guy despite his size advantage & the fact arreola was infront of him ALL NIGHT.

All your arguments are **** weak.

David Haye is the one who has gone around saying all the heavyweights (include Klitschkos) are "bums", "boring" and "embarrassing" and promised to be different and exciting.

    That's the difference !

Haye-Valuev was quite boring, and Haye threw very few punches ..... so why he's been criticizing others ?

Again - because of the riddick size disadvantage.

Just look at ALL his other fights against guys from 5'10'' to 6'5 1/2'' - he went out there and did his thing - booth calls hom an 'aggressive counter puncher'. This fight had exceptional circumstances.

Also, i believe he would have had valuev out of there had he not have mauled his hand - see bbc on you tube to see it swolen up today.

It is orthodox strategy for a fighter to fight from the backfoot when you have the size advantage, not weight advantage. Being taller and rangier than the opponent makes you weak in an infight because the opponent can throw much faster than you can.

Seriously, take up boxing before spewing your crap out in a boxing forum.

    A. ) Weight & size usually come hand in hand (except
    This content is protected
    for fat yank heavys)
    B. ) So, you think the correct tactics would have been to stand and trade - or counter? Didnt think so.
    c. ) So you admit that by design the tall heavys - read: klits - are boring as **** by default. I couldnt agree more.

and on another note - you expect if haye fights vitali that because of 'orthodoxy' haye is going to let vitali stand tall & couter punch whilst haye stands infront of him ala arreola and everone else - therfor playing to ALL vitalis/wlads advantages? Wrong.

Well,at least none of the Klitschko brothers has looked like a bigger version of Sven Ottke.
Haye for sure can compete with Ottke.:D

This obsession with coming forward vs. fighting on the backfoot is just plain silly. Mayweather dominated Hatton on the backfoot, Vitali threw 800 punches to Arreola's 321. What does it matter who comes forward if one fighter easily outlands the other? Haye fought on the backfoot against Valuev and threw maybe 10 - 20 punches per round, against a fighter who was easy to hit for Chagaev, who is two inches shorter than Haye.

Vitali was taken 12 rounds right after his shoulder surgery when he didn't have his one - punch power anymore and needed to adapt. He fought toe to toe with Lennox in a give - and - take battle. I seriously doubt that Valuev would last 12 against either Klitschko.
