Ward might not have the best one shot power but do not underestimate him as an accumulation puncher....but we will see...and you can always give me an apology when you realize that you don´t know **** about boxing

Bute and Bika accepted to take part in the IBF title eliminator back in March of 2007. Then fought in June. Three months notice is plenty enough don't you think?

In case you didn't know. Bute was the first fighter to accept the challenge. It was followed by a long list of fighters turning down the title eliminator against Bute.

Such list include Carl Froch, Jeff Lacy, Dennis Inkin & Jurgen Braehmer.

The IBF basically went down the list until someone accepted to take the fight. That person was Sakio Bika.

IBF Rating in March of 2007:
    1 NOT RATED
    2 NOT RATED
    3 Lucian Bute
    4 Jeff Lacy
    5 Dennis Inkin
    6 Carl Froch
    7 Robert Stieglitz
    8 Jurgen Brahmer
    9 David Gogiya
    10 Sergey Tatevosyan
    11 Sakio Bika
    12 Anthony Hanshaw
    13 Markus Beyer
    14 Mario Veit
    15 Yusaf Mack

Bika would make for some fun fights if Taylor drops out, as I personally think he should.

Of cause Bute and Andrade deserved to be in this tournemant.............

Kalle got the idea and to lure in Show time, there had to be some US fighters too.....

(personally - i think GBP has over looked Andrade for years..)

I can't believe the amount of biased shite you guys like to post in every darned thread. Do you actually believe what you're typing or are you just messing with your favourite opponents?

Of course Sauerland's going to say that the fighters that are in the tournament deserved it the most! It wouldn't be so clever to **** on the fighters in the tournament that could make his boxers into super stars, would it?

The guy could tell the truth but not all the truth. Telling lies is anothing story. Anyway, it's not up to you to decide whatever we want to discuss. You can go on another thread if you want.

The more I'm reading, the more I realise that there are some real nuttheads blogging arround here. But hey, it's a free world and that's the "beauty" of it!
I am NOT a big connaisseur in boxing, but I'm a fan since about 3 years...

    Now let's get to business!

"Super Six" is revolutionary... Boxing has a lot to learn from it, other individual sports should do as well! Never (I might b wrong but I don't think so) in boxing history a turnament like this has taken place and this is why I give all my RESPECT to thouse that made it happen!

First of all: What is the "Super Six"?

Well, it is a turnament between 6 among the 10, 15 top fighters in the 168 division. It doesn't mean that the 6 fighters participating are the best fighters in the division.

Given this premise, Bute and Andrade did certainly deserve to be in the contest. As did Pavlik (160 but possible 168), Bika, Green and others. The choice of the 6 was circumstancial and very subjective. End of story!

I'm a Bute fan since I'm Romanian and I hope that he can beat all top boxers in the division, that doesn't mean I think he will.
Today, the only two fighters that will be tough to beat for Bute are AA and Kessler, all the rest (at 168), in my opinion, are in his reach.
The good news is he has 2 full years to get ready for them. The bad news is they will b better than they are today. Can Bute find enough world class opponents to get him ready for those fights? Uncertain!

One more thing... It is not the power of the punches that matters most but the accuracy and complexity of punch combinations.

    That's all folks!

P.S. Zacker, I quoted u because of the lucidity of your statement :) I like!

The choice of the six was based on one factor. No fighter who Sauerland thought would have a good chance against either of his boys got invited. That's the true "end of story."

It's so kind of you to give me the permission to write on my favourite fighter. Thank you so much!
