My recent thread about Angulo-Yorgey got me thinking, and I didn't get too many candidates suggested, so name any if you will.

    Other candidates:

Froch-Taylor (which is much more impressive than the Abraham KO to me, since Froch was actually behind on the cards at that point)
    Manfredo-Vanda
    Bailey-Figueroa

The guy who had been KOed in 2 of his past 4 fights had a "proven solid chin"?

Definately Abraham. The KO was sick and it was at the last second.
Taylor does have a hell of a chin. People forget he has only been Kod against 2 big punchers well 3 now. And his resume in his past 10 fights in pretty much the best around right now.

I remember Bailey-Figueroa, which is definitely worthy. I can't remember or even find anything on Manfredo-Vanda.

    Abraham-Taylor, Pacquiao-Hatton and Angulo-Yorgey were too scary... so I'd nominate Nishioka-Gonzalez, a beautiful shot.

    Pac/Hatton

Perfectly executed blow. The definition of a one-punch knockout imo, and the type of which you don't see every day.

Probably because I had a brain fart and said the wrong name. I meant Manfredo-Smichet. It was one of those one punch deals where Smichet was out before he hit the ground.
