Haye landed a punch on the bell, but spent the rest of the round running, not even throwing - or barely throwing anything. Valuev landed nothing despite being the aggressor all the time, coming forward and trying to land something, trying to fight. I'm not sure how you are supposed to score that.
this will be the first ive seen of the fight..... and i honestly cant believe what im watching. its been a minute and i dont think haye has even thrown a punch... wtf. edit - the computer im on right now is loading it too slow, ill watch and score it later. from what ive seen so far dissapointing performence from both guys.... hopefully on to better things in the future for haye against someone he feels more comfortable against.
11 punches, wow. Here comes the excitement the heavyweight division has been missing. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JEIjIyySDw[/ame] Chagaev did it better.
Well it was very close. Haye can get a nod for avoiding punches especially good episode avoiding double jab, also he has caught Valuev two times off-guard with stiff jab on movement. On the other hand Valuev got better in exchanges, for Haye's power shot hit shoulders. Valuev landed a few jabs clear enough to count. Moreover Haye could have been penalized for rabbit punch.
Lol at Sauerlands wife turning her head the other way when he talks to her in the first 40 sec of the vid:rofl
Seriously, how was the 11th round close? Haye throw next to nothing, and landed a jab and two rabbit punches. It was so bad that Haye could have been disqualified for failure to fight. That was a PATHETIC round. Did Haye have effective aggression, no. He didn't even have aggression. His defense was simply running the whole round.
Valuev this round. Haye threw 10 punches or less.. really that is what the detractors are rightly complaining about.
I didn't see the fight, is it pretty much like this all the way through? I'll give this round to Valuev for trying to make a fight. He was intiating the action landed more, though it barley tagged Haye. Haye didn't do nothing to convince me he deserved that round. Looked like a crap fight.
Close because not much happened and Valuev missed more shots than he landed. Check closer Haye is not always running. He moves the head or ducks punches. That stuff should be praised. Sometimes he changes direction from back to forth and Valuev looks bad. That's boxing. Everyone is trying to win the way he can. It's ok provided it's not breaking the rules. Anyway I was trying to be as objective as I could but you can check my vote.
