I hope I am not alone on this but, but all of a sudden David have its getting so many props for defeating Valuev... And now he can beat the klitschkos... blah blah blah...

Haye just did only slightly better then Chagaev did in his fight against Valuev...

    Chagaev was crushed by Wladimir...

So keep in mind, just because he did well against a slow plodding giant doesnt mean he will have success again Wladimir...

He did better than chagaev???!?!?:rofl:nut This has to be a joke thread. Or u havent seen chagaev-Niko bout , he DOMINAted valuev and was robbed from a wide ud when haye barely beat him in a snoozefest with sky commentators saying he should have lost , fuk even 50 year old holyfield did better job than David.

im not sayin David didnt deserve the win, but u cant even compare these 2 fights , chagaev landed like 5x more punches on valuev and wasnt running scared like a little girl whole night.

not going to dispute what you said at all. im just going by the general consensus, was giving haye the benefit of a doubt doing better then chagaev.... But like u said, if u watch both fights chag did much better, but was still crush by wlad...

Well, Haye did break his hand so that had to lower his output significantly.

Chagaev had the full use of both hands and still couldn't do better than Haye.

Chagaev is a shell of the fighter who beat Valuev. His illness and injuries took their toll. He was struggling against Carl Davis Drummond. Then he gets a shot at Wlad who did his job against a fighter who was already well done.

Have you bothered to read any threads? Haye is hardly getting any credit for the win.

As for the subject Chagaev beat him easily, but then again Haye was injured. They both did a good job.

Typical daft stupid argument,Chagaev didn`t break his hand within 5 minutes of the fight with Valuev did he? Chagaev was also fully fit when he fought Valuev but had serious injury problems before facing Vladimir.

Thomas Hearns mashed Roberto Duran in a couple of rounds while Hagler laboured to a points win over Duran so going on your stupid daft logic that means that Hearns would beat Hagler with ease yet he got starched big time.

Vladimir got his ass kicked by a bum who lost 13 fights and was KTFO in a couple of rounds by Corrie Sanders

Styles make fights and its all down to what happens on the night anyone with half a brain knows that so you cannot prejudge Haye against Vlad based on how Haye and Chagaev beat Valuev and how Chagaev lost against Vlad.

In England your stuoid idiotic logic would mean Burnley are better than Manchester United and are good enough to be world champions.

Yeah because we haven't seen other fighters fight through broken hands. Guys like Gatti, Mayweather, or fight through other serious injuries, like Danny Williams and Arthur Abraham? Please!

Chagaev did much better than Haye, he actually boxed as opposed to running all night.

Judgements about this fight should just end, David broke his hand, there's no way to measure his performance properly.

Watch Mayweather vs Castillo I. Mayweather broke his hand against a much better foe than Valuev and still did better than Haye against the limited giant. ****in please.
