Would you rather Cotto say----> " what williams? The same williams that lost to Quintana? Quintana Who lost to me, who lost to Margarito who lost to Mosley who lost to me?"

We all beating eachother but nobody beat Mayweather.

If someone has to make that comment in a conversation to a boxer claiming to be one of the greatest, there is no way they will ever be one of the greatest. The fighter has to want that. Floyd wants $$$ more so then legacy. And he uses his 0 on his record as a very weak argument as to why he is so great even though his resume is "light" considering the talent that has exsisted during his time that he has yet to fight. Hes a highly skilled boxer/great business man. Hes not your typical boxer that yearns for greatness via fighting the greatest. Once he realized that he can make boatloads of $$$ without taking the risk while marketing this "percieved greatness" of himself with his undefeated record, all reason to fight the universally recognized best fighters out there is of no importance to him and actually is a liability to his marketing plan of remaining undefeated in order to keep using that as reason for his greatness. Its easier for him to fight lesser opponents, maintain his undefeated record, and use this as reasoning as to why he is the best. We all know you have to beat the best to be the best. Floyd took it upon himself to appoint himself king and the best, so now everyone has to fight him at his discretion if they want to be the best according to him. My question is: when did Floyd beat "the best" out there when there is so much talent in his division and yet fights with that talent has never occurred? If this was asked to Floyd one of his potential "logical" responses would be: "Ain't no body beat me". (makes no sense and doesnt answer question, but that is good ol Floyd).

While I do believe PBF is all about the money. I don't think he is about the smallest risk. I think he would fight anyone if the money was right. But you have to be smart. For example, 8-12million as he claimed is probably the most money he would be able to make off of Baldomir. Margarito on the other hand if he continued to win, his potential earnings off a fight with him would have been in the 15mil range. If he fought Margarito for 8mil at the time then someone else beat Baldo and he retired. Mayweather would have lost out on the potential earnings of fighting both Baldo and Margo down the road since he was way younger.

Mayweather was offerd 7mil to fight Cotto after he asked for 10mil. I can bet you that PBF will make more then 7mil for fighting Cotto today. Mayweather was offered 7mil guranteed to fight Hatton after he asked for 10. Mayweather made 15mil for fighting Hatton about 2yrs later as his hype grew. Fighting Paul Williams today would not be a smart business move. You have to fight Williams after you fight Pacman-Cotto since the iron is very hot there. If Williams keeps on winning and PBF goes on to defeat Pacman and Cotto. The PBF-Williams fight will earn way more money then if they were to fight today as PBF would be coming off wins vs top guys like Pacman and Cotto. While Williams would be comming off wins at middleweight.

Fighters start to care about legacy when they are close to hanging up the gloves. Just like an NBA player who take less money at the end of his career to sign with a championship caliber squad. Why didn't he do that in his prime. That's because in his prime he cared more about making money then sacrificing his money for championships.

But you dont have to say for him to not fight Baldimor for Margarito, he could have fought Margarito instead of fighting Judah who came off of a loss to Baldimor... but he didnt...
And please dont tell me thats your excuse going in~ I mean lets be fair they had cotto come in at 145 so dont bring up the excuse of him being a Jr Welter.

HEY FLOYD, WHY WON'T YOU EVER FIGHT A TOP CLASS WELTERWEIGHT?

"Mosley lost to Cotto who lost to Margarito who lost to Mosley"

OK FLOYD, ALL THOSE GUYS HAVE LOST FIGHTS. BUT MARQUEZ HAD LOST FIGHTS, JUDAH HAD LOST FIGHTS, DE LA HOYA HAD LOST FIGHTS, BALDOMIR HAD LOST FIGHTS, SHARMBA MITCHELL HAD LOST FIGHTS.................. IN FACT, OVER 90% OF THE MEN YOU HAVE FOUGHT HAVE LOST FIGHTS TOO, SO WHY IS IT DIFFERENT FOR MOSLEY, COTTO, WILLIAMS AND MARGARITO?

    "Uhhhhhhm, eeeeeehm.....................................

...No-one gives me the respect I deserve, I'm da money man, I sell lots of ppv's, blah blah ****ing blah".

i agree with you, people are misunderstanding his points, he is comparing himself TO those people not saying he won't fight them because of that. he is merely saying he is a better fighter than that person, and he did infact challange mosley in 99 when mosley was undefeated and PBF was trying to build up his reputation. i think he feels its stupid now that he is undefeated , mosley is looking for one big payday at the end of his career, and was accused of steroid use, he has nothing to lose and is coming after floyd because he knows he is the biggest name right now. RA had good points, but he is also a rapper and used to wordplay , he is going to make a guy who is a boxer seem stupid, even if stuff he is saying is stupid. the stupidest thing he said was riding pac and hopkins dick, then criticizing mayweather for the exact things they've done. hopkins made de la hoya move up in weight to fight him, and won that is probably the biggest win of his career. why criticize mayweather for doing the exact same thing with JMM. pac's last 2 fights were de la hoya, coming off a loss to mayweather, and hatton who won a gimme fight, but his last big fight was mayweather which he lost, but yet mayweather is criticized for beating judah coming off a loss. see it just makes whoever seem non-credible when you make accussations against one person, but praise another person who has done the same thing. another thing that is WIDELY known, is bob arum doesn't like mayweather and doesn't want to do business with him, you're assuming mayweather can even get a fight done with pac and his slave-owner promotion. been watching 24/7 even freddie roach is just about done with that situation and bob arum's spies in his fighter's ears.. people assume its all on floyd to get this done, to go after pac to go after mosley, he is going to sit back wait for the outcome of pac v cotto, fight the winner, then MAYBE fight mosley and probably retire..i don't see why he should mess up a huge payday with a risk like mosley, and the williams thing is just stupid you know most fighters are ducking a guy who is fighting at a super low weight and is a freak of nature, its not because williams is some excellent boxer, he is just awkward, and like RA kept preaching styles make fights, and paul williams would be a bad matchup for just about anyone in his weight division, until he moves up in weight he isn't getting fights peroid. im not a big mayweather fan but i think a lot of people are blinded by hate, i would say he is cautious about who he fights, but a lot of fighters are like that, and he knows if he loses to say mosley he'll miss out on pac .. just be patient if he doesn't fight pac cotto or mosley next and does indeed fight hatton , then my opinion will change

I dont got time to read this punk ass call out thread. Same bull**** all the time from the Floyd hater club.

All I got to say is, lifetime ban bet that Shane Mosley doesnt win 4 Mayweather.

Mayweather knows what i know. That Mosley at his age, cant see Mayweather. Dude struggled with Mayorga, got outboxed by ****in Cotto, and just because he beat that no talent assclown cheater Margarito, he's now 30 again? Please. Maybe like I said before, 5 years ago, when he was still roided up, I'd favor him over money, but not now, it'd be just like the Oscar fight, except Oscar his jab and 154lb weight avantage.

Why would Floyd fight someone who cant draw and whos no match. Its the margarito bull**** all over again. What Mosleys gonna land a lucky hayemaker on Floyd lol?

The only fighter in the world that could beat Floyd is Pacquiao. Fast, southpaw, can take a punch, and doesnt get tired. Period. end of discussion.

Yes but so what? Judah is the type of fighter who could look crappy in one fight and look great in the next. Kinda like Ray Mercer.

"This does mean that PBF will not fight Williams because he has a loss."
    - In fact, PBF has never fought Williams and expressed no desire to do so on the future. Nobody cares about his reasons.

"I believe PBF has lost interest in Mosley for 3 reasons. Number 1, because he took steroids and Mayweather may have lost the respect for him to the point that he will not help Mosley get a payday".
    - Mosley is an ATG, the Ring champ at welterweight and PBF has no respect or interest?!!:?

Yes, we understand Floyd so wrong:rofl. I believe what I see that is that Floyd has been a welterweight for a long time and has not fought the best oppoistion and expressed no desire to do so in the future. Nobody cares about the reasons or excuses.
