New Ring P4P list, Marquez and Vasquez out, PWill and Chad Dawson are in

    Here's the new list up on their site:

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    3. Shane Mosley
    4. Bernard Hopkins
    5. Juan Manual Marquez
    6. Nonito Donaire
    7. Miguel Cotto
    8. Celestino Caballero
    9. Chad Dawson
    10. Paul Williams

    Dawson and Williams replace Israel Vasquez and Raphael Marquez due to not doing so much and not looking so impressive lately. As much as I like Donaire, I really feel he shouldn't be there, top 20 definitely but not top 10.I wasn't able to watch the Dawson fight but all accounts seem to say he beat Johnson pretty decisively and looked good (although a lot are saying he played it safe too much). I'm sure a lot of you guys will be happy with William's inclusion but won't be happy with how low he is. I expect him to move up when he wins handily on Dec 5.

    Thoughts?

    why is Nonito above Cotto? and why is Cab' even on the list?

    but atleast they finally got rid of Marquez-Vasquez, great fighters no doubt....but far too inactive

    I'm seriously asking people to explain how Dawson, Caballero and Donaire are in whereas lineal HW champ Wladimir Klitschko, lineal CW champ Tomasz Adamek, lineal and undisputed SFlyW champ Vic Darchinyan and lineal BW champ Hasegawa Hozumi aren't. I don't like him but I'd still recommend former undisputed CW and current HW champ David Haye, and what about maybe unbeaten 2-division champ Arthur Abraham or 2-time champ Mikkel Kessler and possibly unbeaten World FW Champ Chris John? The Ring is extremely biased against European fighters and you very rarely see Asians fighting outside of the USA making to the list. Every single fighter in the top10 fights in the US market or often being televised there and not one could make it who doesn't.

    Why put Williams now when he hasnt done nothing recently?

    Why didnt they put him in after the Winky fight?

    Donaire at 6 its not acceptable.

    All he has is a win over Vic,the same Vic that was beat by Agbeko thats not enough to be number six on the list.

    Maybe they realized they **** up for not putting him in there before.

    I would have williams much higher. But hey he has time to prove where he truly belongs on that list.

    That is one **** list - all good fighters - but not a current P4P list imo.

    Williams is there cause we are going through a weak era,ten or twelve years ago he wouldnt even be top 20.

    Where are the likes of Hasegawa, Kessler and the Klits :?
