    The 'scared' comment came from Rico, who while a grade-A clown, still need putting in his place via replies to his ridiculous statements.

    I have to say though Scar, I was disappointed in your scoring. I don't see how you can give that fight to Valuev. In how many rounds did he actually out-land Haye? That's what it all comes down to.

    Why is it that when Wlad does this, its considered boring? by HAYE himself? he spits upon that kind of performence.

    yet you say yourself, when you have a gameplan that utilizes your chances of winning, you stick to it.

    and this is what wlad does......

    yet haye constantly shits on it....

    whats good for the goose is good for the gander, and haye is now just taking his medicine.

    A fighter has a right to fight the way he thinks will win the best, but on the other side of the coin, fans have the right to appreciate fighters who go out and do the extra mile, more, and to NOT like performences such as that.

    just imo....

    that being said i think people are being a bit hard on haye, the guy he was fighting was huge and he did what he had to do to get the W in this case, so he will take flack for it for one fight but i expect him to be back to vintage haye in his next fight against guys more his size.

    froch was not 7 stone heavier then dirrell...haye had no choice other then to keep mobile

    Holyfield's win was definately by a wider margin. For sure. One of the biggest robberies ive ever seen.

    stop using that boxing on the outside excuse because its rubbish. Haye literally ran the whole fight! Literally!!!. For nearly all the fight he was less worried about engaging and more about plain running.

    Especially after all that smack he was talking. ALL OF it.

    I felt dirrel won-even though i didnt actually score it.

    yet he seemed he could still use the hand throughout the fight? Also i saw a video of it when he landed and barely looked swollen at all. Ive seen fighters with breaks who could barely lift their hand let alone use it. Still, i'll give him the benefit

    Why is it everyone in England keeps trying to defend what they know is not defensible, Haye's really boring performance in this fight?

    Really, you KNOW it was boring, and you're making lame excuse.

    Nobody was asking Haye to play rock em sock em robots with Valuev. He ran. Period. Look how Chagaev fought Valuev, used in and out and side to side movement he did not back peddle the whole fight and won easy on the cards.

    Haye promised excitement. It was an awful fight. The punch stats prove it but so does Haye's marathon running. He is not going to fight the Klitschko's any different.

    The mentality of some people who like boxing seems to be that if you don't just stand there, in front of your opponent, and let him hit you, then you're "running" or "scared", I tend to think that these people don't quite understand that boxing is fought as much in the mind, as it is with the fists. Haye's TACTICS, EXECUTION & GAMEPLAN were spot on.

    Throwing 11.9 punches a round is barely showing up and is just as disgraceful as the running.

    It was an awful fight. Period.

    I can agree with that.

    In my eyes...

    What Dirrell did against Froch was run. What Mayweather did against Hatton or Haye against Valuev was box.

    That's true. But Wlad has a glass jaw and Haye will shatter it. Vitali, on the other hand, will KO Haye in 6 rounds or less.

    Fine, it's his prerogative to not do that. Fact remains, Chagaev did. It's not unreasonable to be more impressed with the latter.

    I def think what Mayweather did against Hatton was box, that was a performence.

    And although i too think Haye boxed against Valuev, i do think he took it to an extreme that is unpleasent,

    BUT, i excuse this because he was fighting an extreme opponent.....
    but this has been one fight, and i think he will be more like himself next time.

    I enjoyed it because I enjoy watching a guy fight out of the rule-book - 'Hit and not be hit', and I like to watch fighters who show skill in what they do, not punch-bags like Margarito or Gatti.

    The only beef I have with it was him saying over and over before the fight he was going to go for the knockout. I ordered the fight, payed my $24.95, and was expecting to see an old fashioned heavyweight slugfest. Instead Haye decided use an entirely different tactic. Haye spouting off over and over that the Klitchkos are boring champions and then he goes off and fights one of the most boring heavyweight title fights I have ever seen. He lied to me as a boxing fan and I want my $25 bucks back. :verysad
