He may be the future of the heavyweight division but that is a distant future. As long as the Klitschkos are still in the game Haye will be a separate entity defending his watered-down title off to the side against guys like Ruiz and Meehan. He'll be a more charismatic and more exciting version of Johnny Nelson.

It is true beating Valuev and getting the title was a good negotiating angle. He is in a much better position now than he was without a title. So I agree. It was a good move. The question is , will he fight the Klitchko's ever?

Fact is only that Haye had a successfull career as an amateur and cruiserweight.

The idea that he is "Mr.Charisma" is not a fact, it is the opinion of people who find low - class insults and overblown announcements entertaining. The idea that he is the future of HW boxing is entirely speculative, three fights with performances that at least ten current HW's would be capable off are not conclusive. He may have a great future at HW or he may find that beating Valuev on points doesn't mean much, should really face a Klitschko one day. His power at the elite HW level is as unproven as Peter's was, who didn't turn out to be the new unstoppable KO machine. The whole thing about foreign soil and goliath means little, considering that the judges gave Haye a fair scoring and the goliath was soundly beaten by fighters smaller than Haye (Chagaev, Holyfield).

So you are mixing facts with beliefs here. I personally find Haye not charismatic at all, his attempts at humor are terrible, good looks and British accent alone don't do it for me. He may be the future dominant HW or me may get humiliated by a Klitschko or perhaps by contender like Chambers or Arreola.

I haven't changed anything I have said. Don't start trying to label me as some Haye fanatic who hates on the Klit brothers. Bear in mind that I have said Wlad would be the favourite but Haye has a punchers chance and that I cannot see any way that Haye beats Vitali.

I don't know if the injury was genuine or not, I wasn't in his camp. But he says it was and so I'll take him at his word.

The right hand was definitely broken, but plenty of the anti Haye bandwagon are even trying to dispute that, despite the videos of his hand, the fact X Ray results have been given to the press and the clear as day fact that he hardly used it after the second round.

HE BROKE HIS ****ING HAND IN THE SECOND ROUND YOU DRIBBLING CRETIN.

The videos of his press conference, interviews with Sky etc are all over the net, the hand is shown, it is absolutely ****ed. I've fractured a metacarpal in a fight and my hand was nothing like as swollen as Hayes. The X Ray results show a broken metacarpap. It happened.

    Jesus.

Wow. This is sad. The opening post is some serious dick-riding then the rest is some pathetic Haye-bashing.

Yeah. You have obviously never broken a hand. It is broken, look at the ****ing state of it. That doesn't mean you cannot hold a pen and write you idiot. Jesus, he managed to actually punch with it, but the pain would have been terrible.

You are aware that people have managed to walk on broken legs, talk with a fractured jaw etc?

The hand did not stop him fighting but it is a huge disability in a fight. Hence why someone who is right hand happy in most fights began only using his left.
Hence why his hand is a bloated mess and an X Ray showed a broken metacarpal.
