Does boxing need more world sanctioning bodies

    I think you'll be extremely hard-pressed to find anyone thinking more world sanctioning bodies are a good thing, save for those that would profit from such a move (which is the whole reason they do it).

    In this case, no-one gives a damn about the WBF in the first place (sorry Audley) so splitting it up further doesn't help their credibility one jot.

    Let's see, with "World" and "International" on the one side of the "Boxing" word and "Federation", "Organisation" and "Council" on the other side of the "Boxing" word we have 2x3=6 possibilities, so we can easily have 6 sanctioning bodies without having to apply new ones...

    So WBC WBO WBF IBC IBO IBF all six are already used for whatever little meaning and success they have... Someone might please establish the 7th sanctioning body, choosing "All" or "Allround" or whatever might seem convenient, thus creating the ABC sanctioning body, now THAT would be something to behold :)
