Adam Booth said Ruiz is definately next, so I'd be very surprised if it's Adamek. Excellent fight though

I'd love to see this fight - it's probably the most exciting fight that can be made at Heavyweight. Like others have said though, it seems to good to be true. I fully expect John Ruiz to ruin it - just like he ruins every fight he's involved in.

If it does happen, I'll take Haye by ko. He hits much harder, has (I believe) the edge in speed and is a much more natural Heavyweight. Added to that, I just think he's more skilled. Adamek definitely has the power to hurt Haye though (as does every other Heavy out there) and their respective styles pretty-much guarantees a great action fight.

Since Adamek has a scheduled fight February 6 in Newark, I thought it would be with Haye...maybe the fight after that, and after Ruiz vs. Haye

You ****ers would have hated when Ali was about. If Ali never existed and was born in 1986 or something and was an up and coming HW everybody would hate him.

Boxing having no characters would be boring. Every fighter being nice and respectful would only be fun if the fights were always great. Wlad for example great fighter but is a nice guy and his fights are often nearly as bad as Haye's last one (nearly).

Anyway this would be a good fight to watch. Rather Haye got some exciting fights in before he fights a Klit bro and looses.

    Haye TKO5 Adamek

More than adamek for sure. I´d like Adamek to grow more into hw first before he takes it serious. He isn´t that big. On the other hand, if he doesn´t fight Haye before Haye fights Wlad or Vitali he will never fight him.

Ali had charisma and a razor sharp wit. Haye doesn't. Just opening your mouth regularly isn't enough.

In all seriousness how is Ruiz the mandatory. He's lost 3 shots at the title and he has only tomato cans outside , it's a disgrace.

punch vs. punch. Good fight. When Hearns fought Cueves the thinking was "whoever lands first wins". This fight would be the same.

Haye-Adamek would sell big in London. England v Poland baby, it'd be madness in The O2.

Ruiz getting so many andbeing involved in so many title fights is a contributing factor to the state of the HWT division. John Damn RUiz. If ALi and Foreman and Frazier had to keep defending title against Ruiz and get held for 15 rounds every time, Howard Cosell might have left boxing even earlier than he did. :0

King or some sanctioning body should raise money and give Ruiz like a severance package to leave boxing and go over to pro wrestling.

Adamek to fight at heavyweight again

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4651180

Cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek, who tested the waters at heavyweight with a dominant knockout performance against Andrew Golota last month, will have his second consecutive fight at heavyweight on Feb. 6, Main Events promoter Kathy Duva told ESPN.com on Thursday night.

Adamek (39-1, 27 KOs), who is based in Jersey City, N.J., where he has a strong following in the Polish community, will return for a 12-rounder against an opponent to be named.

He will fight at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., where he drew raucous crowds for the three bouts he fought there before going to Poland to face Golota.

"There was a lot of pressure to go back to Poland, but we don't want to lose the momentum we have built up [in Newark]," Duva said. "We'll go back to Poland eventually, especially since Tomasz is a big star there now."

One of the heavyweight fights Adamek would like is against England's David Haye, the former cruiserweight champ who claimed a heavyweight belt last week with a decision against Nikolai Valuev.

"He wants that fight. They're the same size," Duva said. "Tomasz said that if Haye wants to fight someone who actually will punch back, he'd be happy to fight him."
