who cares if he gets a "second chance". mosely gets too much credit for beating him. without his wraps he's a hack. sure he's got a decent chin but so did chuck wepner and tex cobb.

Old pads + sweat is not an unlikely scenerio, now is it? No magic needs be involved. And you may ask why they don't find more fighters with those substances, well it's because they do not test them.

Assuming that is is indeed Plaster of Paris, and that the CSAC was not using Margarito as a scape goat for thei corruption, I can totally see Margarito not knowing about them. It's not like those "pads" looked ANYTHING out of the ordinary.

A 1 year ban was good enough. He is been blackballed by the powers that be. Its almost as good as getting banned from boxing. He isnt getting any big paydays soon.

Plus his ass is shot to hell. He steps up against another top 5 fighter and he is getting KOed again.

 

He should get more than that, though he may not have known as he claims you cant tell me he didnt pick up on this after the Cotto fight... explain this

All irrelavant. Margarito's use of illegal wraps, attempted or otherwise could have killed someone. By comparison, unless Mosley suffered 'roid rage in the ring he was likely only to have had a probably minor performance boost.

Margarito without the wraps was exposed by Mosley just as he was by Cotto until the plaster hardened enough to cause the damage later in the fight. The guy is a criminal and I hope he rots.

 

I wonder if this forms a verbal contract and if so 'ouch' that's gonna hit you hard in the wallet come Sunday as IF Cotto loses there is no way he retires.

 

Marg most likely cheated, but to use Cottos face as evidence is just plain stupid. Just look at Paulies face after the Cotto fight, Arthur Abe after Miranda, or any of the Vazquez vs Marquez fights, there is countless more. Those guys are comparable and imo worse than cotto. This is boxing, people get hurt!
