No, no, no. I have the opposite feeling. They obviously have some deep-seated sibling rivalry ****, if you've ever read any accounts of them sparring or listened to Steward (or either brother) talk about it. Once they cross that line where they agree to get in the ring - it's on. If something were to drive them to do that (falling out, money, whatever) - well, blood may be thicker than water but it'll flow faster and freer than Niagara. :deal
My pick is Pac v FMJ. My second choice would be FMJ v PW. IMHO, I don't see the Klit brothers fight to be interesting. I just can't see those two beating the hell out of each other in the ring. The family love they have for each other and their mom will prevent those guys from going all out.
Wlad vs Vitali strikes me as a fight that is better on paper (and during the promo) than it is in the ring. I can't imagine anything more than a tactical sparring session. :think
Allegedly they're not allowed to spar anymore because it got too vicious and competitive. There will be blood! :fire
The thing is I would happily smash the **** in my brother for the millions these pair would make. I'm sure he would be exactly the same.
Just because this is a hypothetical question, I went with Klitschko v Klitschko. This fight would be way bigger than any of the others. If I had to pick a second, I'm torn between Hopkins Jones and Mosley Mayweather. Both of them are alluring, as Hopkins Jones would be a classic fight returned and Mosley may pose the only threat to Mayweather. Though I would prefer Mayweather stepping up to fight Pavlik, count Mosley and Pacquiao out of the picture, let them fight each other, and send Mayweather into a place where he can really make history. Jones v Hopkins frightens me too, as I don't think I can watch Jones take another beating, especially against Hopkins.
Gamboa V Lopez is a real pick em fight. Others are mismatches in terms of talent and only sell big numbers.
Mayweather vs. Mosley and Klitschko vs. Klitschko are mismatches? Lopez gets bombed TFO by Gamboa, btw. :deal
Really? Longstanding feeling or swayed by the Mtagwa fight? Glad Shane - Floyd is only 12 votes behind, figured it would be a Pac - PBF landslide.
Favored Gamboa only slightly up until a couple months ago. I was at MSG Wamu theater, about twelve rows back. Lopez was even more badly hurt than it looked on TV. By Mtagwa. Whose punching technique, speed, and power are not quite that of Gamboa.
