One thing Valuev is able to do is make otherwise exciting solid heavyweights look ordinary because they react a bit warily when they are faced with the freakish dimensions...... Valuev is an expert at making a great fight look sluggish. He has a face for radio and a style better watched in braille..

He isn't good he just suffocates those who are.........

 

I agree that this does not sound like a very exciting match up... if sergei fights on the outside like he did against Briggs...
I'd predict an almost carbon copy of the chagaev valuev fight...
short armed heavy weights using foot speed to get in and out without taking too many shots
if he tries an inside fight... he might do very well, and actually make an interesting fight! but the problem with staying on the inside with Valuev is not getting knocked out, it's getting leaned on by 300+ pounds in clinches

 

I would like to see this rematch if this fight against Valuev is an eliminator then maybe Briggs will get the first crack at the title if Sergei wins it. I would love to see the rematch just to show all the haters the outcome would be no different

 

Hopefully SL wins but i doubt he can do it as impressive as Chagaev. Chagaev has more explosiveness and very good footwork.
