Having Pac ranked above Cotto, before last night, at Welterweight is total nonsense. Pac beating Hatton at 140 doesn't make him a better WW. He had had one fight there, against an old DLH. Cotto had beat Judah, Quintana, Mosley and Clottey, and won two world titles!:patsch

 perhaps...We don't need your garbage threads here, there are plenty of them as it is. What is so hard about giving credit where due??? Grow up? Don't talk about me when you have never in your life met me or know who I am.

It isn't a garbage thread, it was my opinion when I re-watched the fight and wanted to see what others thought. I don't come on here oftselen so is why I made a profile in case I wanted something like this, and clearly, it's gotten 5 pages of replies, some agreeing with me, some disagreeing, pretty succesful for an internet forum thread, don't you think?

And no, I have never met you, but it tells me alot when you told me to go kill myself over an internet forum when I made no personal attack at you or anyone else.

Is it possible to overrate a victory while the fighters are still bleeding?

You might have not been here a while but it seems Pac doesn't get enough credit. The DLH fight, while DLH was not himself, Pacquiao beat him. Pac then goes and KO'es the 140lb champ in Hatton. Now Pac goes up to 145 and again shuts out the WW champ or #2 WW. Yet people like you still find a way to discredit the win somehow...

I second that motion, and to the other guy NO it seems that it;s the regulars that are obsessed with calling others Noobs, Gay, etc etc etc

Absolutely not! Cotto is one of my favorite fighters, but what Pacquiao did was extraordinary. I had predicted a Cotto stoppage late, but I never expected Pacquiao to win, let alone like this. He is something special, a truly one of a kind fighter. Take nothing away from Pacquiao's victory by saying such garbage as Cotto being a shot fighter and other nonsense. Cotto fought a great fight, but Pacquiao is simply amazing. You can look at Pacquiao's face after the fight and tell he was in a war. He truly earned this victory. I mean, he used the rope a dope on Cotto. It's ludicrous! Pacman weathered the storm against the ropes and came roaring back hard, he's sick! All props to Pacquiao, he earned this victory and my respective. No excuses from me. He beat my favorite fighter fair and square.

I'm not discreditting him for any win, I'm just saying it wasn't flawless, and maybe a more confident, better prepared fighter would have picked him off.

Great fighters occaisionally take the odd shot,Pacquiaos virtually the perfect boxer, sorry pal,you can`t take anything away from him really.Cotto was fighting a good competitive fight and still got trounced.
