Hatton beat Lazcano and Malignaggi before losing to Pacquiao, get it right. It was a good win against a top fighter at the time, Hatton didnt beat the likes of Tszyu, Castillo and Malignaggi being ****. Unless everybody outside the top five pound for pound is **** thats a ridiculous statement. De la Hoya may have been weight-drained and past his prime but Pacquiao gets no credit for stopping him? Again ridiculous. I'm not even a Pacquiao nut-hugger or anything but please think before you talk.

^^ you're from the UK obviously you're gonna think Hatton is god.

Malignaggi....please don't even get me started on that featherfisted piece of ****.

  3. Agreed. In 20 years no one will even remember Floyd. He just hasnt beat enough legit competition.

Top 5? Are you ****ing insane? Considering ****ing Ali isn't even top 5 on most lists, Pac is nowhere near that ****.

I like Pacquaio, but he's not that good. I agree with 20-25.

Honestly, last night, for me, was both extremely depressing (I am still a huge Cotto fan), but also illuminating in the sense that Pacquiao, a fighter who I felt needed to show me a little more than a lopsided TKO against De La Hoya and a crushing victory over Hatton, in order to be considerred as great as he is titled. Certainly, his fights against Morrales, Barrerra, and Marquez were epic and Pacquiao derserves the most credit for them. He has, though, evolved quite a lot of that time. Sure, Cotto has ghosts in his head while fighting, but the Cotto that came in last night to fight was no *****-footer - - he hit Pacquiao and Pacquiao kept coming forward. So, I would love to Pacquiao take on Mayweather, but I don't think it is absolutely necessary.

Overrating him? - - well, now and again, there are the zealous fans; but Manny Pacquiao is what he has made himself and whether or not he's one of the top ten, twenty, thirty, best fighters of all time will not affect that he is one of the greatest boxers living.

How am i a hater? I'm just stating how i feel, Manny is a great fighter one of the tops of this generation. I said Manny is top 35 OF ALL TIME. Do you know how great that is???? U ****en dumbasses.

Oscar is not a great win, it's just an OK win. I already said Oscar hasn't fought that low for over 7 years and plus he was almost 36.

co sign...what more does this man have to do to NOT be called overrated? I mean, COME ON! Pac has already cemented his legacy. He is easily top 20 ATG. Easily. Maybe top 15. After last night, there should be no doubt about it.

If Oscar de la Hoya and Hatton are not worth mentioning, then Floyd's list of names worth mentioning is what?

    Corrales, Castillo, and Judah

    And thats it.

So with what you're saying I don't see how beating Floyd would be a big deal at all. If thats what you say would boost Pac to the top 15 then he should be there anyways.

I thought he was overrated, last night changed my mind completely. Pac did some things in the ring last night that make me believe that the Manny of the last few years H2H beats just about anyone 140 and below. I'm not convinced of him being an ATG at 147, because he'd be at a big size disadvantage against guys like Williams, Clottey, or Margarito. I might still favor him over those guys though.

Anyone 140 and below? No contest. I've just never seen a guy who continued to progress so much so late in his career, he's really a two handed fighter, he's a master at resting when needing too, and brawling when it's his chance.

You all remember JMM 1.. little hoppy skippy jump in with a left then back out Manny? No more. He'd destroy JMM in a re-match worse than Floyd did.

People are always questioning Manny, and talking about how he's overrated. Unlike Mayweather, he proves them wrong by fighting bigger stronger men.

I'm not saying for sure he could beat Mayweather, but he's no ducker, and he fights guys he could possibly lose to. Then he demolishes them. That's what makes him so great and exciting in my eyes.
