I give Ariza more credit than Roach on that night, Roach did good no doubt, because Manny is a much much better boxer, the Pacquiao that showed up against David Diaz would have gotten destroyed by Cotto, but how did Ariza make Pacquiao so strong without losing his speed and give hime better punch resistance? Incredible!
Good pick and a great round. One of the best of the year. I loved the way Cotto had Manny against the ropes and was working him over only for Manny to spin him round and give it him all back with interest! Cotto had landed a decent right hand on Manny but it had no effect. That round was like something out of a Rocky movie - one of my favourite rounds ever!!!
I laughed at the way Pac made Cotto run backwards. Pac not only made the bigger man step backward.....but he actually made him running backward. At one point Manny was just standing in the center, Cotto ran backward and Manny just stood there and watched the ref like 'what the hell is this guy doing? I'm in a sprint contest now? '. Cotto is a good fighter and deserves respect,...but his backward running was the funniest move in the fight. From that point it was official that Cotto was Mannys *****.
