well, thats a bold statment but there were some things to note.

when cotto was jabbing consistently, he was catching pacquaio and effecitively backing him up, very early in the fight. cotto has a good jab, mayweather has a better one.

another thing, after taking a beating, when cotto was moving away, boxing, he was frustrating pacquaio and was catching him with counter punches. mayweather is much faster and more elusive.
just some things to think about.
