Vitali Klitschko may not have left much of a legacy behind, but IMHO he's one of the better H2H heavyweights to come along in recent times.

Prime for prime, who takes it and how?

Vitali was never knocked out or knocked down in his career although he took huge bombs from Lennox Lewis and lost on cuts. He never faced anyone like a prime Tyson though.

I expect Vitali to use his height and reach and attempt to keep Tyson on the outside with his jab and 1-2. A prime Tyson has the speed to get to Vitali though and would start to land bombs and combinations on the inside.

Vitali might stay on his feet, but eventually the accumulation of punches would take their toll, and Tyson would stop him in 6 rounds (possibly on cuts).

Tyson to win quite easily, inside 5 rounds. The speed, power and movement is more than what Vitali has come accross in his career.

I like Vitali, but the difference in competition and achievement between the two is so monumental that Tyson must get the benefit of the doubt.

    Tyson KO1

Tyson could beat Vitali right now if they fought.

Problem is that Klitschko could be hit, and Tyson would be finding his chin all night. Though Vitaly had a solid chin, he's going to take bombs all night, whereas a prime Tyson was elusive and tough to land on. Tyson takes this either, any way that it comes.

What do you base that on? Tyson would have a better chance of knocking out in one round, because hes a fast starter. Vitali has to be the most overated heavyweight in the history of heavyweight boxing. His entire career is based on a loss to a retiring Lennox Lewis. Its mind boggling. Hes average at best. The two most important fights to his legacy in his career he lost. Part of being a great fighter is being able to actually finish a fight.:patsch

Vitali TKO9 under normal conditions. If Tyson is coming off a KO victory over Wlad.....then Vitali TKO6 :yep
