Jetski if there was one you are going to paint in these Pics on this link. Number 11 is by far the best.
I like this one: This content is protected I just ****ed about with it on photoshop and it looked pretty good: This content is protected Loved that Hagler painting TS!
I like this one alot, also. Thats a pretty crazy PS job! This content is protected Where did you find this one? Its very similar to this, just taken a split second earlier. This content is protected
This one is killer, but I'd rather paint them in a close up, instead of head to toe. (see above) This content is protected
:rofl:rofl:rofl Dude that picture was shopped before the Fight. Oh and Damn Jetski you finished that painting in less than 24 hours? Dont those things take like 3-4 days? You got some serious talent bro. I fail at drawing stick figures if given 24 hours.
Which painting? I don't think I've posted any on this thread, only my blog to view. Your not talking about this photoshop job someone did, are you? This content is protected Your right about it taking many days to paint in oils. Some take me 2 weeks & over 60 hrs. to finish. I have to try & speed up the process, but the finished product will def have a diff look then what I've done in the past, but thats OK, something new!
damn...awesome pics fellas. jetski, look forward to see what you finally settle on. keep us in the loop :good what an epic fight this was. two class guys.
Ya see ballys avatar here>>> This content is protected Well, back around 1984, just before I got into civil engineering, I worked at a huge machine shop. This spanish guy out in the shop was a big Duran fan (just like myself) & he asked me to paint him a Duran. This is the image I used, panted it in watercolor & sold it to him for I think $45! Man, I would love to have that one back. It was an awesome image to work from. Duran looks like the devil! :fire
Thanks!:good Absolutely true about the fight & classiness. Cotto's a hellofva guy to do this after the beating he just took. This content is protected (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((GO COTTO)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Cool, I'm civil/structural engineer myself but only been at it few years, anyway if its not too rude to ask - roughly how much are these paintings selling for? I understand if you would prefer not reveal that information publicly. cheers
No problem. This one I shipped from New Jersey to Australia & with shipping included, all my supplies, I think I charged him $575. Which is very reasonable. Go research some sports artists & see what they charge...and the quality of their work. BTW, where do you practice your civil engineering? You guys have work? Very bad here in NJ. I've been out of work 17 months! This content is protected
