What? Pac gifts aren't comparable to Jones? His reflexes, natural power, speed ect are not comparable (P4P of course) to jones? I beg to differ. he may not be as popular in the states b/c he is in a lower weight division, but his talents are vast and easily noticed. B/c he sure as hell aren't beating GREAT TECHNICAL and TACTICAL boxers b/cs he's so skilled.

I agree that when PAC beat MAB he hadn't beaten anyone on MABs level, but he earned a shot at MAB by beating some stiff comp and Ledwaba was a fight that not many expected PAC to win either. When he destroyed him everyone took notice.

I'm not selling Diaz short and dismissing him as nothing. He just ins't PROVEN. That is my point and has been my point. He needs a shot to prove his mettle and his status at 135. He's meeting and beating his tests but you can't truly judge Diaz until he fights someone like MAB, EM, JMM or PAC. Could he beat PAC. YES! Is it likely NO!

But then again....this was probably the exact same thing I said before PAC took on MAB the first time. I gave PAC no chances at pulling off an upset.

When I say PAC is 3 levels above Diaz its b/c he is head and shoulders abover Diaz in experience, Competition and talent. Diaz can prove otherwise should he take on PAC and beat him like PAC beat MAB, but until then he is still jsut a young, excititng pressure fighter with a lot of will to win.

I must say I'm impressed with Diaz....I like that he is stepping up and solidifying his status. Making Aclino quit wasn't really impressive to me as it was to you. For making David quit that was impressive but I never thought David Diaz was anything more than a soild professional and title holder.

The draw was bogus! I can say that emphatically b/c the draw was announced and PROOF was provided that the judge in FACT didn't score the initial round correctly. We can argue all day about how well JMM did after such a brutal 1st round and how he came back to make it a really close fight. I'm not arguing that b/c JMM proved why he is a true champion and Mexican Legend that night. With that said..it still has nothing to do with the facts surrounding the outcome of a DRAW that night which was well documented.

And Pac has alot more weapons going in to the rematch. He isn't a one handed fighter anymore, he isn't all out pressure, he isn't just going straight forward, his defense is a lot better.

JMM is still JMM. he can either be his old counter punching self that he has mastered or be a bit more aggressive as he's been showing lately. But at the end of the day JMM is a counter puncher and no one is teaching this dog any new tricks. PAC is still learning and ever improving. The odds are stacked against JMM in the rematch.

I don't think its gonna be a cake walk....but the rematch with MAB wasn't exaclty giving PAC fits either. He won that fight handidly as I see him doing with JMM.....DIAZ is bigger so I think he will present more problems for PAC who would be moving up in weight to face him. You make some good points but I guess we will have to disagree...we can bring this back up when these fights are made! Either way we come out winners as fans!:good

He will beat Void, but so far Void has avoided Pac, Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, etc.

Pac can make a case to be @ Top 10 if he beats Floyd.

But No. 1 is being delusional.

    Amazing thread. :good

Classic example of idiots who were just shitalkers before a fight. They will say how oeverrated Pac is and how JMM, Diaz, DLH, Hatton and Cotto would all pound Pac.

And when Pac beats them, instead of getting credit, it is his opponents that are shot or not good to start with.

You're delusional. Pac's a good fighter but just because Floyd beat Hatton doesn't mean a guy from Super Featherweight is going to stand a chance. Diaz, maybe. JMM-Pac is just not skilled enough and few people know this but Marquez now drinks his own urine since their first fight and takes some kind of voodoo strength from it...Pac can't fight that.
