Carl Froch v Nigel Benn

I rate Benn very highly and he is one of my favourite boxers of all time but I think if both met in their primes Froch would win. Benn would go to war with Froch and gas around the tenth. Up to then he would have Froch on shakey ground several times but Froch can bang and has an iron chin. Be a great fight. Froch vs. Collins would be good also.

 

Froch would win in a war !!!!

Michael Watson or Anthony Logan would have been more apt.

I like Froch for this, TKO in 5 in an absolute war.

Having said that, it would be toe-to-toe - either one could get a kayoe.

 

Mmmm, difficult one, both have the power to hurt each other, depends who lands first, I'm going Benn better work rate and movement

 

Benn by stoppage in a good scrap.

 

One thing for sure. It would be a war while it lasted.
IMO. Froch is taylor made for a prime Benns style. Benn hated fighters he had to go looking for or canny fighters with a tight defence. You fancy a tear up with a prime Benn your coming second best. Ask Barkley,ask Dewitt,ask McLellan. The guy who had Frochs power comparable to McLellan's is on planet ****in ga ga.:nut Froch may of had some success and hurt Benn. But only one outcome for me and thats Benn by KO:good

 

No question. Benn Struggled with slick boxers but if you step into his world he will kill you.

 

Benn looks like SRL when in the same ring as Froch.
