Yup, he's my choice too, most sluggers are often caught off balance and don't really box. Not Valero. Just watch the sparring videos of him, his boxing ability is well underrated.
Yohnny Perez.......not the most skilled fighter but has a unthinkable workrate and seems to get the job done no matter what. Seems to be slowly inching into the p4p discusiion. His resume is starting to take shape very nicely, some very solid wins.
valero is overrated, sure you will look good fighting bums, and japanese brick sales men. valero will get sparked as soon as he fights someone with some boxing skills, he fought bums all his life, he fought a old bum for the wbc. valero skills are basic, he has great power, good 1,2 combo thats it. he has no balance his chin is so high, hes not really that fast (sure you will look fast fighting bums). valero is definitely not underrated, and ocmparing him to manny wtf is wrong with you. manny did fight like valero when manny was 16 then manny was sparked 3 times becuase manny was foolish but he was young enough to bounce back, then freddie made him what he is today.
Victor Ortiz-Im telling you if this kid gets his head on straight. Then hes got the potential to be even better than he was originally thought to be.
yeah but hes not underrated. if your called the next oscar de la hoya your not underrated. did you even read the post,
Yes, yes and yes to that. Chris John is always underrated. No losses in over forty fights, including being in the double digits for title defenses and having a win over Juan Manuel Marquez. Not a dominant win, but it's there. John is a very, very fine fighter. Robbed of a win when he supposedly drew with Rocky Juarez. That was a terrible decision.
Probably Andre Berto. Im not a fan but i feel he gets the shine taking from him because of the things he has said, he is however a talented fighter who no one takes much notice of because of his weak resume. I hope Shane stomps him TBH but he is underrated imo.
