I've watched both Pac vs JMM and Pac vs Cotto in slowmo.

I don't think it's horrible, but it just goes that with his style of fight, he leaves himself open. I don't thinks it's changed much.

    Dinamita is NOT Cotto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cotto got raped there, while Pac barely squeezed the decisions against Dinamita!!!!!!!!!!

After El Terrible, MAB and Dinamita wars, PacMan is gonna steamroll over anyone else especially in the higher weights, cause there's no such a great quality fighters up in this divisions!!!!!!!!!!!
Those fights made Pac who he is now!!!!!!!!!!!

She is a weapon. I was going to start arguing some damn point with dangerosity yesterday, and ended up completely losing my train of thought.

I disagree. Pac's footwork and movement are better now, which makes him harder to hit. His power is clearly better, and for some reason his resilience seems to be better now too, as he was rocked once in the second Marquez fight, but against Cotto he was hit with shots from a far bigger and stronger man, and just ate them up. I'd say his punching with his right hand is better now too. Don't be fooled by how often Pac was hit in the Cotto fight into thinking he hasn't improved, Pacquiao was standing in range a lot on purpose just to show he could, if he wanted to fight in-out at speed and get hit less, he would have done, but he wanted to show he was big enough and strong enough to overpower a real welterweight.

Thats what i have been saying.
This just showcases JMM actual skills
The thing Pac has improved is his right hand a lil. He leads with it more but he is still the same fighter.
I dont bring this up because i know i will get attacked by the Pac craze but its a mazing such a huge Pac fan in Philla can bring it up.

I think it solely has to do with the fact that JMM is used to fighting faster fighters since he is in the lower weight classes.
I still think JMM beats Pac in a 3rd fight. In my scorecard he has beaten him once and had a draw with him.

Pac will always be in trouble versus a counter puncher thats why i dont think the PBF fight will ever get made. That is a bigger better version of JMM and Roach knows it. No way this gets made unless its Pacs last fight.

You need to slow it down even more and watch it backwards to get the full effect of his brilliance. If you doubt it after that, I will eat Valuev's y-fronts.

Crazy how people are saying Cotto is easy to figure out. I don't know any other fighter not name Manny and Floyd that could figure him out. Cotto fought the best. His other only loss he was able to win more round. If margarito hadn't cheated he would have won the fight.

I think the Pacman's definitely improved, but what we also sometimes forget is that JMM was is an exceptional fighter. If it wasn't for Floyd and Pacquiao, he would go down as one of the best fighters of the era.

the difference could be pac was drained in his last 2 fights at 130 and it somehow affected his strength. but i somehow agree that it was a better version of pacquiao that jmm rematched. some were impressed with pac's defense when he fought cotto but if you will rewatch the jmm rematch, he used his high guard as much for this fight as the cotto fight and alot of jmms's punches were blocked. and besides at 130, this is where the best jmm version we have seen, complete with power, speed and accuracy.

Great Post and I agree with you. People need to think hard and try and understand that boxing is about styles, and matchups. Hatton, Skeletor and Cotto were just better style matchups for Pacman then JMM was and much better then Floyd is gonna be.

What is making Pac better at the higher weights is that he has gained strength and power, but kept his speed. That's the difference. Hatton, Skeletor and Cotto were not ready for him being that fast, they had never seen anything like that. Think about it, if Lightweights and Jr Lightweights were blinded by that speed, imagine what the bigger guys would be.

JMM has Pac's number at 130. He got robbed twice.
