Ward. However, if Calzaghe had used his head a bit more (literally not figuratively), he might have inflicted similar punishment.

Calzaghe - Kessler was almost even after six. Ward - Kessler was almost over after six.

Ward is a faster, more skilled version of slappy with a gold medal and solid hands.

    Ward's performance was more impressive.

But Calzaghe was 35 and facing a 29 year old undefeated champion.

Ward was 25 and facing a 31 year old champion who had his wings trimmed by Calzaghe.

Now RJJ had a more impressive victory over Lacy than Calzaghe did. That doesn't mean that Roy was better (at that stage) than Calzaghe. It just means Joe had done a number on him earlier.

While Joe did not ruin Mikkel to the same extent he demoralized Jeff, he certainly did do a number on his confidence.

So as you can see, Andre did not face the same Mikkel that Joe faced.

While this is a no brainer, its not really fair. The Calzaghe Kessler fight was awhile ago and out of many peoples minds.

But Cazlaghe didnt dominate Kessler, he only beat him I had it 7 to 5 for Joe I think that judges had it 8 to 4 many rounds were close. I think just about everyone gave Kessler all the close rounds in his fight with Ward and he still only won two of 11:hey

ward by a country mile.......the fight was never close, calzaghe-kessler was a competitve fight....there was absolutely never a point in the ward fight, that kessler was in the fight let alone competitive...zero, nothing, nada...

I had it a shutout at the time of stoppage...
